  • Token for Lake Seer

This is my four card mini-set for Shaman that surprisingly revolves around shuffling cards into your deck and gaining benefit from that. It's something that Shaman doesn't have yet in Hearthstone.

    • Windshear Mystic gives some protection and shuffling synergy while also adding a nice Battlecry for Shudderwock.
    • Elemental Vortex adds value generation in later stages.
    • Lake Seer provides much needed synergy for your shuffling cards, providing you even more cards to shuffle, single-target clear and even more value generation.
    • Vas'no draws cards you shuffled already while still shuffling copies of them. Useful for further synergy and tutoring some cards you need.
  • Guess I took a bit more literal approach to Zin'rokh, because in WoW it was one of many treasures of Hakkar that passed on many warriors and paladins before being sundered and later reforged. It reflects that a bit by shuffling a Corrupting Blood into your deck - you gotta pay a price for wielding one of Hakkar's treasures.

  • With each day, I can already see some potential for cool decks. Zhang is one of cards that might be very slow, but it has some nice upside that scales the longer this game goes. We could fix his problems with him being too slow by just including Master Oakheart. Also great with N'Zoth and Da Undatakah (in Wild).

My apologies if you're amused that my favorite cards in Hearthstone are N'Zoth and Da Undatakah haha

  • Theme-wise, this class could join either Jade Lotus or Grimestreet. I place my bet on Grimestreet because hand buffs would probably feel something that matches Tactician's identity of palnning ahead. But I wouldn't mind seeing Jade Golems in this class seeing it is based on Pandarens.

  • My biggest concern is that there are quite a lot of cards that scream weak for me like Firemaster or Shado-Pan Master. You just got to buff them, because they seem too weak. Some cards are also weird to include imo (like Cleansing Mist), but I guess you plan on adding stronger spells and you prefer them to have these more useless spells as emergency options or to balance out odds of getting certain cards.

Otherwise the class seems fine, but not that flashy and maybe slightly out of place. I do appreciate how you're trying to force players to position minions appropriately, and the rarity thing seems neat, but still not flashy for me. xd

  • Well then... I think this makes the cut to support Shadow Priest. Just choose wisely, because you having three copies of the chosen spell might not be enough, but should be good enough to maybe even convince every Priest deck to include one copy of Shadowform, because the potential for this to go viral feels pretty insane.

  • Well, I actuallymanaged to get to rank 15 two days ago and just reached rank 14. I suppose it was some sort of luck, because to be honest, I mostly met weird decks on my path. While I did lose three times to Mill Rogue and then to Bomb Warrior along the way (and some Murloc Shamans after reaching rank 15), I still got to experience playing versus pretty poor decks.

I do want to get Plague of Murlocs though, because it seems to serve a similar puprpose to Devolve, but being better against boards full of Giants, high Cost minions etc. Maybe that new 2-Mana Elemental for Shaman in place of Maelstrom Portal - more Overload D:, but consistent body, a minion to fuel Hagatha the Witch even more and another good Battlecry for Shudderwock.

  • Hack the System

Back to playing my Jade Shudderwock Shaman unless I get some Pirates, then a big "if" in case of playing this Quest.

  • It should, but I'm skeptical man. xd

  • I actually think the Mogu Cultist combo doesn't work here, because while your initial Cultist costs (0), Echo copies will still cost (1). Same with handbuffing an Echo minion - only the initial minion gets the buff.

So I guess sadly dump out Glinda, Mogu and Demonbolt for something else. ;'(

  • Currently back on trying to tinker around the deck. Decided to cut Ancestral Knowledge entirely and replace it x2 Mana Tide Totem. And so far, it seems to work. Of course, haven't played against real decks just yet as of this season, but it seems to work.

Also got so freaking excited to get Swampqueen Hagatha from a pack. Because this deck is not as heavy in Overload, I might consider replacing one Lava Shock in favor of her. Maybe cut both and also include Walking Fountain as of the recent suggestion.

  • I can't believe my brain captures ideas for decks so easily. Guess I actually found a way to trigger Mogu Cultist in Standard for your class. Play two Cultists in one turn and cast Been There on each - you'll have four in your hand. Then, summon three Cultists, play Sense of Spirit and play the last Cultist to summon Highkeeper Ra.

  • I think I should be called whenever someone who created a class wants to have a fun deck for it, because I got a motivation to create another one for Chronomancer xd. It's mostly a highlander deck revolving around Da Undatakah + Tharon'ja + Kara the Fallen combo to constantly shuffle Da Undatakah into your deck for massive board clears and slow victory. Might create a decklist soon, but you get the idea.

  • I'm so excited to share this decently crazy idea for a Paladin deck with you. Pretty grindy, but boi will it look amazing if you could pull it off.

  • Funny with Zerek ;)

  • Ok, thanks for clarifications then.

  • Basically a bigger Sleep with the Fishes. I don't remember if that card was played, but this might be. The problem is that it competes with Brawl, which is a staple for control warriors. But Plague of Wrath seems good and worth competing, because it can clear the entire board - something Brawl doesn't (because it leaves one minion left still). Just with some help like Warpath.

  • Looks very strong, because not only can it deal six damage to any enemy, but it's also an Elemental, which might convince any Frost Lich Jaina to include this card for burst damage and instant healing.

  • I mean... there are hardly any ways to summon three Obelisks in Standard with only Priest being somewhat competent in that task with cards like Vivid Nightmare and Power Word: Replicate. In wild, it opens up a bit thanks to cards like Carnivorous Cube.

It's still very hard to pull off, and most decks should have a way to destroy at least one Obelisk by the time you pull off the combo. But 5 damage to random enemies looks fine, and maybe that is the intent of this card - to not go for crazy OTK shenanigans, but to possibly get some board control for at least one more turn.

EDIT: Following SoU launch, Warrior could also pull off the combo as soon as turn six even. Just play Obelisk on curve, pray it doesn't die, play Inner Rage on it and play two copies of the new Warrior epic minion - there you go.

  • Forgot about him xd.
