Just posted a guide about a very similar version of Aggro Dragon Hunter. It's 60% winrate on hsreplay.net right now which of course will fall as meta adapts.
Only a few cards different from Muzzy/Orange's list. Still very aggro but a little more draw.
I didn't keep the results, but after getting from no quests to three 60 quests with rerolling, I started paying closer attention and realized the 60 quests are definitely more common than the 80 and 100 ones, at least in my case. Especially when I remember last year always having at least two 100 quests every three days.
Anyway, if this is the case, it could mean we'll get more events like these throughout the year, like The Taverns of Time. At least I hope so.
It didn't feel different than last time for me, but I didn't record the results and I try not to base conclusions to heavily on my personal experience - small sample size, confirmation bias etc.
But interesting to hear it at least seemed similar for you.
Don't want to moan about free dust! But if there was weighting wish they'd have been more transparent rather than "here's 8 quests you can get, half are 80/80+".
Maybe some HS stats people collected data and will make a Youtube video on it - that I'd find pretty interesting!
I actually quite enjoyed it - though I skipped the non-free elements of the previous 2 single player content as f2p and wasn't worth the gold (in my case others loved it).
This time though you kinda need the cards and can't craft them for over a year, so saved and was ready :)
Play on all 3 servers so completing it 3 times over was a chore at times, but not excessively so.
Will do the heroic at some point but likely only on my main EU account. All in all an interesting way to finish the year.
Always seemed like 60/60 quests were offered far more than 4 out of 8 last time we had this festival, so I decided to record the quest distribution I was offered this time.
Played on 3 regions and had a few extra quests due to having a non-empty quest log when event started.
Always rerolled a 60/60 unless forced to clear a quest slot.
Reminder of what was available:
- 4 60/60 50%
- 1 80/80 12.5%
- 3 100/100 37.5%
I was offered:
- A total of 81 lunar quests
- 51 60/60 63%
- 8 80/80 9.9%
- 22 100/100 27.2%
% is to 1 decimal place.
I also recorded what quests were taking up other slots (as these can't be offered) and also the quest I was rerolling from (also can't be offered). I won't bore everyone with that level of detail, and this isn't a proper statistical analysis - though much of the time I had 1 or more 60/60s already in the quest log - on 3 separate occasions I rerolled into a 60/60 despite having 3 60/60 quests. That's a 1/5 (20%). Only twice did a 3 60/60 reroll result in a non 60/60 (I got 1 80/80 and 1 100/100).
Definitely came away feeling strong weighting in favor of 60/60s there like last year. Especially as of course I didn't reroll 100/100 quests which skews average result upwards.
Not saying any of this is indicative of how anyone else did or what Team 5 set due to small sample size but I thought it was interesting. All in all glad to get some extra dust!
My biggest Win-Streak was quite a while ago ... i only play standard and at the time Secret-Mage emerged i played this deck from 15 to 5 with no loss. But i also have to say that i got realy lucky with most of the match-ups.
Well then to you Sir I say, bravo. I lost 9 games from 15 to 11 in this run (and why I changed decks)
I'm no stranger to lose streaks. But just had a winstreak of 15-0 from rank 11 to rank 5 (on Asia).
39-12 from rank 17 to rank 5 this season as not played for a few months.
I've never climbed from rank 9/10/11 to rank 5 without a loss before and likely won't again.
(just to mitigate sounding like a brag post, significant luck was likely on my side and same deck on NA was giving me ~50% at rank 10! - so I'd say I'm average rank 5 player at best)
Feels good when things go your way doesn't it? :)
So - what's your most satisfying winstreak (whether rank 50 or to L1 )?
Here's a screenshot of HDT so I can look at it when I get my next lose streak to make me feel better and stop blaming HS, RNG, the weather etc for me getting crushed :P
Maybe not the one you omitted, but "earths" is a word both for multiples of earth the planet (i.e. Crisis on Infinite Earths) and for a collection of various types of earth (soil, rock, etc - the same way fishes is the correct plural for talking about multiple species of fish in one group).
YES you win! Wow +1 AND universal karma!
Today is really your lucky day my friend :P
The fact I came up with this list shows how exciting my life really is lol
The only "wasted" time is time you spend doing something you didn't enjoy - so if you had fun then I use my universal karma to declare this a good use of time!

Was bored and drunk and decided to see what English words were in the word HEARTHSTONE. No anagrams or backwards, names etc just straightforward English words. Here's what I came up with, but removed one - first person to find it gets, um, I dunno, universal karma and a +1 :)
A HE ON TO ART EAR ONE TON HEAR TONE HEART EARTH STONE HEARTH HEARTHS HEARTHSTONE
Of course possible I missed more other than the word I omitted in which case double karma!
Thanks mate :)
It's a bit slow for what this deck is trying to do.
Dragonmaw Poacher if there are lots of mirrors, other dragon decks.
Big Ol' Whelp if you are looking at the list posted above.
Lifedrinker or Unleash the Hounds if you are looking at the list I posted below.
There's lots of options.

Frenzied Felwing can be crazy strong when played early for free.
Deck went 13-0 from rank 17 to 10 in 55 minutes. Would be interesting to hear how it does at higher ranks.
edit: 33-3 to rank 5 on NA and EU
True story.
Last birthday I was bought a pink unicorn as part of my presents by my girlfriend.
I call it Horny.
Love to all!!!!!!

How did you do?
If his first turn is crazy I'd restart (and I did). A lot easier these days don't have to even concede and reload the game board.
Second attempt was fine.
Well then to you Sir I say, bravo. I lost 9 games from 15 to 11 in this run (and why I changed decks)
15 - 5 with no loss. That's pretty impressive :))
Wow that sounds epic :) (golden epic in fact)
Haha nice!
This is why I am excellent at reviewing cards.
The only thing is you need to take the exact opposite of what I think and go with that confident you will be correct.

Thanks for this - playing more wild at the moment but like to keep my eye on what's going on in standard and these articles are great.
Imagine if still had charge :))
I better get on and play my free arena ticket to 2 losses. Should only be 2 games :P
Those aren't words in Hearthstone unless you skip letters (there's more like son if you do). But you still get universal karma so it's all good :)
By all means find more!
Thanks mate :)
