What if there's no space for the tokens? They simply vanish, I guess?
How cool would it be if the tokens simply crush existing minions to make space? That would fit flavor-wise, and could be useful for triggering deathrattles
Major KUDOS to Avalon for all the great Mercenaries content recently!
Pro-tip for those of you working on these tasks (or any challenging bounties): you can reroll the map! Scan ahead for elite encounters, mysteries, etc, and if it doesn't look good, retire and try again! This is especially helpful for the Smuggler Speedrun, where you really want to avoid elite battles, as well as skipping as many as possible to cut the total number of turns. I always do this when I have a daily task to hit those Boon Coins.
I did the 200 damage one with Cariel and Tirion. Played the second bounty against the 2 elemental casters. Got Leeroy's attack up to 50, then slew them both with one shot. Easy.
I've posted here before about using Cookie to grind out onerous tasks like "destroy X minions with Devilsaur (or other summoned minion)". Just want to add to that: if it's not too late, DO NOT upgrade Cookie's Fishing ability to level 4. If you do, the swordfish does 15 damage instead of 12, which will kill any other summoned fish. This means you cannot grind out kills endlessly.
I held off upgrading Cookie's Fishing to level 5 for a while because of this, and when I finally maxed it out I expected to have shot myself in the foot. But tbh I wasn't very bothered by it in the end. A lot of the tasks cookie helps with are still about as easy, since you can just not attack the Swordfish. It only really messes with tasks involving uncontrolled attacks that don't end up killing everything anyway, but even then I found it no more tedious grinding them across multiple fights than picking on fish within one.
So I guess my point is it may be optimal to stay at level 4, but it's not as big a deal as it first looks. Certainly the added effectiveness when not grinding can be argued to win out on balance, even if it's primarily just for the extra +1/+5 stats for maxing Cookie out.
Right, I said level 4 and meant level 5. I think you're correct entirely. The task I was working on was Kurtrus' "kill 75 minions with Aimless Assault" so I had no control over which target he hit.
It's also frustrating how unbalanced the tasks are. For example, I think everyone's final task is "deal 450 damage to heroic bosses." As the final task, it should be harder, but that's a piece of cake. On the other hand, the Kurtrus one was PAINFUL. You have to use an ability with cooldown and you can't choose the target. It took SO MUCH grinding. Same is true for any task you need to use summoned minions like Krush's devilsaur or Mukla's brother.

I used an anti-dragon build I already had been using in PvP (because of the popularity of dragon comps there). It's Gruul, Gromm, Sinestra, Lokholar, Varden, Jaina. This comp beat every boss in Onyxia's Lair EASILY. However, for greater success in PvP and heroics bounties, I plan to make some swaps. The frost synergy with Lohkolar/Jaina/Varden can be good, but can also be anti-synergy because Gromm and Varden slow enemies down, while Lokholar wants them to go sooner so he gains more frost damage. I'd use Balinda if I had her.
I think Gromm and Gruul are a must: they can slow/pound/destroy most dragons easily. Sinestra can be strong, but was probably the weak link here, especially since there was no other dragon to activate bleeds. I think you'd be fine with any strong caster build: holy, nature, etc. You just bring in the reds when there are greens and bring in the blues when there are reds. The blue dragons are usually not too hard to manage.
The laptop I usually play on won't run the game anymore, so I've been playing on a Chromebook. Works fine, except I cannot chat. I can open a window and type messages, but there is no way to send it. Read online other people have had this issue, but no solutions, so I'm turning to my beloved OoC community. Anyone?
Also, Swizard, if you're reading this, that's why I haven't been responding to you. Sorry, not blowing you off.
Ok, so I'm playing through the new bounties that just dropped, and I noticed something funny: the SI:7 dudes are all labeled "Human" even though, looking at the art, one of them is obviously a Night Elf and one is either a Gnome or Dwarf. That, plus Gruul still has no label, despite the fact that he's a Gronn. Just seems lazy to me. I wish they'd focus on fixing the game as is (like the coin issue) instead of adding all this new content so quickly.
LOL just logged in and got 2 packs. If I had my tinfoil hat, I'd think someone at Blizzard was reading these posts ... now where did I put that dang hat ...
Some BS right here. I watched the tournament for over 4 hours this weekend, not a single pack. Linked my account, didn't mute or anything. I actually WATCHED the games (which was pretty painful at times). Anyone else having this issue? I saw lots of people with similar complaints in the chat during the stream.
Hey, I just linked my account and am looking for drops for the first time. When should I expect my packs?
You should get them nearly immediately after fulfilling the required watching hours.
Just make sure while watching that you've not muted youtube and keep it active, which means not having it in a tab while youre doing something else.
Ah, thanks for the info. I was kind of watching off and on while doing other stuff. I mean, listening to the casters talk between matches doesn't interest me as much as the matches themselves. Guess I'll take a little longer to rak up the time.
Think about who the people are that work for the weather channels out there.
These are the last 2 HS clues I haven't solved. I know I can figure them out, since I know HS (I don't play the other games). Any other hints you can give without giving them away?

Step 1: Play Celestial Alignment
Step 2: Draw this card, plus Circus Amalgam and Mr. Smite
Step 3: some sort of attack buff?
Step 4: Profit.

Were there no pack drops for last weekend? I watched 4 hours of the matches on Friday March 18, but didn't get any packs this week.

Guys, Gruul is wicked good in ALL of the Onyxia's Lair bounties. There are so many Fighter Dragons (including Smolderwing) he just destroys.

Welp, time to quit PvP for awhile. Every time new Mercs come out, the whales dominate PvP with maxed out new Mercs that powercreep over older ones.
My first thought was to play The Demon Seed, but then I realized you couldn't play Tamsin until turn 5, and you'd be dead by turn 1.

Some decks just want to watch the world burn.

Hearthstone players: ...
Blizzard: Oh, we heard you want Randomonium AGAIN.
Me: (sigh) It's worth it for a pack.
