Akali is definitely just a "win more" card in this deck, as he gives you a similar value to Galakrond. There are some other strong cards in the deck you could double up on, like Restless Mummy or another Galakrond invoker. As for Ramming Speed, a Supercollider would have the same effect times 3, but works differently. A second Shield Slam, or possibly an Execute can do some work for you as well.
I love Togwaggle shenanigans! I will totally give this a spin! Hemet is a nice idea, but you have a lot of stuff he won't clear out. Maybe add more draw? We've all seen the insane amount of cycling priests can do with Northshire Cleric,Wild Pyromances, Acolyte of Pain, etc.
Devoted Maniac's value will vary wildly depending on the class you're playing and the board state. I've found it to be pretty good in Control Warrior because it gets you 5 flexible damage that you can immediately trade with. If you have a Ritual Chopper equipped, or still have a 1 or 2 drop, you can clear most early boards.
After opening packs, I didn't have much time to play last night, but I went 7-1 with a control Galakrond Warrior. I ran every Invoker I had, plus Kronx of course, a suite of removal, and a bunch of nasty boys for buffing: Tomb Warden, Restless Mummy, Scion of Ruin, etc. I even brought back the Vicious Scraphound - Zilliax - Sweeping Strikes combo for massive heal and armor gain. My only loss was to a Quest Priest who simply ran me out of resources with Mass Hysteria, Plague of Death, etc. Had a ton of fun!
Everyone is getting all 5 Galakronds for free, and anyone who doesn't unpack this guy will craft him if they have the dust, right? In what Galakrond deck would you ever NOT run this card? Isn't it just too damn good to support Galakrond?
I've been farming gold for DoD all weekend with this. My version just has the 7 key murlocs and 2x Tip the Scales and 2x Anyfin Can Happen. The rest of the deck is draw and 2x Gentle Megasaur. I've been super lucky getting Scales in opening hand more often than statistically likely, but have also cheesed out many wins simply by dropping murlocs as I draw them, then pulling Anyfin for the kill. Feels so dirty!
Another great review. I want to commend you particularly on your use of the word "penultimate," which I feel is a very underutilized word in our language.
Bad card. Too weak to be worth running. Quest Druid could use it, but it's not good enough to take up a card slot. Maybe pick it from Worthy Expedition, sometimes.
Just adding some flavor for Kronx Dragonhoof. MC as in Emcee, or Master of Ceremonies.

I haven't seen Zalae's version, but thanks for the support. Your comment was super helpful and definitely worth your time and mine.

Hey everyone, just want to share my favorite deck of the new expansion so far. Give it a spin! Let me know if you have ideas for improvement.

I've been playing a more control-oriented version in Standard. Is it worth playing this in Wild just for a single card?

Honestly, playing a Scion that you drew with Galakrond is one of the most fun plays ever. Three 7/6 rushers is insane, and for only 3 mana!

This is a Tavern Brawl deck, so you start at 10 mana.

With today's patch, Sathrovarr is suddenly unavailable for decks. Anyone else have this problem? I wonder if it's intended, or a bug.
Don't forget the 5/2 weapon!
Nice job, friend. A fun deck we can all enjoy.
Kobold Barbarian isn't an ogre, but fits this deck thematically.

Yeah, good point! Also Hakkar's blood cards. Only reason to play this, besides memes.
Nice big taunt for decent cost. The battlecry seems not good enough. We should try playing some treant druid to find out.

THANK YOU!!! Why does it seem like so few people get this reference?
