I don't know if the second wording would actually put the cards where you want them; the first wording is preferable in that regard, in my opinion. It's funny that you would make a card like that, though, so soon after I made this card for the previous comp (but didn't share it) :P
Considering that, I like the 1/2/1 better. You're not gaining hand-advantage, really, so something cheaper is better.
The value you gain from the effect all depends on when you draw the minion back, really: you could pull it back immediately and get almost nothing, or it might be at the bottom of your deck and it'll last a while. You're still removing a minion from your board, though, so hopefully it's not too ridiculous; might need to tone down the size of the copy to 2/2. I gave it 2-Unholy so you could mix in a spicy target from other runes, like Gnome Muncher or Thassarian.
I didn't provide any feedback 'cause I don't feel all that great mentally. Sorry.

Didn't receive the best news from a medical-meeting I had last week, and now I'm just kinda…here, playing Elden Ring or Hearthstone and sulking. Edit: I'm not dying and it's not cancer. Realized that came off very dramatic D:
Last Stand might actually be worth using now, holy shit. I was expecting them to shave off 1-Mana and be done with it; this seems way better. I still await the Thori'belore buff, though...
I imagine She-Hulk would be a good one, too, if you're planning to skip your turn so the Rocks are cleared. Don't have her, but she was my first instinct.
I made two ideas, to help illustrate the kind of thing that we're looking for (edit: only to be ninja'd by the other two :P):
They both are a mix of the new and the old, and their "home expansion" is easily discerned.
Twilight Shepherd is a C'Thun card for the Death Knight; I made him a 1-drop because spending Corpses can only be done on certain cards for certain amounts, and you have to incentivize the class to use the old/bad cards somehow. Obviously a good pairing with Lord Marrowgar, though.
Monica Dreadguard mixes Inspire from TGT (and the Discard synergies that were around at the time) with the Fel school, providing you an incentive to trash the card you just drew. If it's a card worth discarding, like Fist of Jaraxxus, even better!
I would personally like to submit Bonedragon Ritual, but I doubt that including a keyword that needs only one bit of non-bold text would qualify, which leaves me with Chronax as probably my best bet to stand out among the competition.
It's unfortunate that Galakrond falls through the cracks on this prompt, but ultimately Yes, a card Invoking Galakrond would get you in trouble :(
Fel Damage +2 on a 1-drop with premium stats (and the Dredge) is a lot in my opinion. You'd also have to consider that, if such a card existed, Fel Warlock probably wouldn't see much additional help: with such a strong cheap card waiting in the wings, how much more could they push the archetype without going overboard?
I think it's a cool card, don't get me wrong; I just think +1 would have been safer.
As someone who wants a female Death Knight skin, this is an especially low-blow. I just know they'll use this as their excuse not to make another one :(
Edit: I've seen the skin, and I don't like it. I guess I feel better?
machadogps - Seems really strong. Blizzard tells us Dredge is a vanilla effect that can afford a conditional bonus next to it on a class card - Trench Surveyor says so - while Spell Damage usually comes with more cost. I could perhaps see it on a more expensive minion, but on a 1-drop Common? Would push Fel Warlock for sure lol
Me0203 - I like Nutty Buddy - Mech Shaman could've used more love - although two Nuttys (Nutties?) really early could get ugly. I don't see the need for Inlet Scavenger and Tuskarrrr Trawler to exist at the same time.
AeroJulwin - It costs 0, so at some point during its existence it will cause chaos lol. Requires you to accumulate more pieces in hand to pop off with Vexallus Mage, for example, so there is that. It might be okay if AoEs aren't printed, which has held true for a while. Ironically, the Hunter might use this the most with its new Arcane stuff.
Wailor - I don't know when she'll be printed, or what she'll entail, but I feel Calia can afford to be more than a keyword-soup card. Living Typhoon is cool, though, so I'd go with that one.
Demonxz95 - The Raptor is a neat callback to two older keywords. It might be simple, but I like that one more.

What's with everyone making cool Commons, while I'm making a Legendary? Am I compensating for something? D:
What about this? It's not Al'Akir anymore, but Su-Gar, Confection Lord!
"Fire Lifesteal" is what it sounds like: Your Fire spells have Lifesteal. While technically a new keyword combination, I'd argue it's no different than Bru'kan saying "Nature Spell Damage +3" instead of "Your Nature spells have Spell Damage +3" despite being the first card ever to do that.
"Oh, I have time; I'll vote tomorrow" *doesn't do it* Perhaps I only have myself to blame for not being a finalist lol :/
Good luck in the voting, everyone.
Kind of no-showed again this week, so...yeah. As of this comment, you have about 4 hours and 13 minutes left to submit! Good luck to everyone.
I've had Absorbing Man pinned for like a week and a half. Still don't have the tokens, but he's ready to be purchased!

Congrats to Demon!

Toxfin comin' back down in Tier to wreak havoc once again lol D:
