machadogps - Seems really strong. Blizzard tells us Dredge is a vanilla effect that can afford a conditional bonus next to it on a class card - Trench Surveyor says so - while Spell Damage usually comes with more cost. I could perhaps see it on a more expensive minion, but on a 1-drop Common? Would push Fel Warlock for sure lol
Me0203 - I like Nutty Buddy - Mech Shaman could've used more love - although two Nuttys (Nutties?) really early could get ugly. I don't see the need for Inlet Scavenger and Tuskarrrr Trawler to exist at the same time.
AeroJulwin - It costs 0, so at some point during its existence it will cause chaos lol. Requires you to accumulate more pieces in hand to pop off with Vexallus Mage, for example, so there is that. It might be okay if AoEs aren't printed, which has held true for a while. Ironically, the Hunter might use this the most with its new Arcane stuff.
Wailor - I don't know when she'll be printed, or what she'll entail, but I feel Calia can afford to be more than a keyword-soup card. Living Typhoon is cool, though, so I'd go with that one.
Demonxz95 - The Raptor is a neat callback to two older keywords. It might be simple, but I like that one more.
Show Spoiler
What's with everyone making cool Commons, while I'm making a Legendary? Am I compensating for something? D:
What about this? It's not Al'Akir anymore, but Su-Gar, Confection Lord!
"Fire Lifesteal" is what it sounds like: Your Fire spells have Lifesteal. While technically a new keyword combination, I'd argue it's no different than Bru'kan saying "Nature Spell Damage +3" instead of "Your Nature spells have Spell Damage +3" despite being the first card ever to do that.
Are numbers allowed? For instance, for keywords like Overload or Manathirst.
Yes, certainly, if they're a part of the keyword.
@ Me0203 "Re: Wailor's Typhoon, a mechanical question - will back-to-back Dredges invalidate the first card Dredged or place it second in your deck?"
Dredge places the card on top of your deck, and does not shuffle it. Dredging again should leave the deck alone and place the second card on top of the first one.
I'm pretty sure I made the prompt post, so it's weird that it shows Demon. Anyway, Demon and I were debating whether or not one could pull off a Colossal in this comp, so I made one :) I don't think I'm gonna submit this, unless people are sufficiently amused to warrant it lol.
I think there is a problem with the voting page. I noticed it last week and this week it happened again.
Hmm....I have not experienced this myself. I'm wondering if it occurred during a Bad Gateway error? Then, when you reloaded the page, it skipped over the entry because it erroneously believed you had seen it already. I say this because we were dealing with some issues earlier this week - including a Denial of Service attack on Thursday - and that might be the culprit.
Please bring it up if you experience this again; we'll look into it in the mean time. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
I'm assuming this has already been noticed, but just in case it slipped by: "Your Entry" unintentionally shows the card description twice.
Yeah I think that's an accidental side-effect of including the description as part of your entry now, so it will show up in the finalist voting. Thankfully harmless, if a bit wonky to see lol
Well, hope this art is better because it is literally the only one there is.
That art is definitely better :) And "imbue" is a better word; I guess you're good to go!
@Me0203 I have to agree with the others about your cards not being okay for the comp :( They're definitely interesting, but they don't meet the "interact with exactly two types" requirement...
Alright, I guess I'll up the cost of Drex :P I should also include the word "friendly" in there, as well: surprised no one noticed that he can proc off of enemy Deathrattles...including myself lol. Not super happy to nerf him to 5, but that's the cost of doin' business...
Wailor - This is a good card that can pop off in interesting ways, but its costed such that it won't happen too early in the game to be abusive. Plus you could whiff by drawing the other Cultist off this heh. My only problem is a small one: it should just say "Swap their Costs." at the end. See: Vast Wisdom, Prismatic Lens, etc.
BasilAnguis - Did you mean to skip over me in your feedback? It looks like you had it at the end, but deleted or forgot about it lol :P Anyway, this is a really neat card: I could see a nice flow going between them. Whether it should be 3-damage or 2 really depends on how many Dragon/Elemental dual-type minions there are in that particular set, because they would be the easiest means of chaining multiple Battlecries in a row. The safe bet is to knock it down to 2 (and don't forget a comma after "turn"). Last thing I'll mention is that the art is a little…off. Not sure if it's blurry, and there's something in the frame in the bottom-left that you might not want to be there. Still, the card is cool.
anchorm4n - I will echo Basil's concerns in-that the card doesn't require or push a dual-type deck. You could play Tag Team in anything, really, because the effect is self-contained.
Moondreamer - The flavor of this is perfect hehe. Is it a good card, though? Hard to say: you need a Beast on the field that will survive long enough to be buffed and maybe get some hits in, only you plan to remove it later for a (larger) buff on a Dragon. You're gonna feel real sad if the Dragon is removed quickly afterward - that's like a two-for-one special for your opponent.
AeroJulwin - I like Captain Shivers more than the Zombeast card. In my opinion Zombeasts should have remained uniquely tied to DK Rexxar, given it's the sole thing making the card special. Shivers is also more elegant in its design, I feel, and more flavorful overall. You can easily imagine a crew of ghost-pirate cards to go alongside this :)
Demonxz95 - This is cool, but also concerning. In some ways it goes against an important rule of Hearthstone: Start-of-Game effects aside, you should have to play your cards. We always knock those "if this is in your hand, do X" effects, but Constellos encourages you to hoard your best Battlecries so-as-to trigger them without playing the minions. Is that okay? Maybe, but maybe not…
Neoguli - Like some of the others I am not a fan of the art. Not much to say beyond that, really: it's a pretty straight-forward workhorse kind of card. It's a little too simple for someone like myself who delves into uniquely complicated Legendaries half the time, but that doesn't mean it can't be appealing for others.
Tried to do Harbinger of Winter and Glacial Advance, ran right into a Pogo deck. Conceded, switched to Pogos, got a Hunter to concede turn 1. It's a virus...and I helped spread it :/
I'm a bit disappointed that you beat me to the Beast / Mech card for Hunter, linkblade. I'll see if I can find greener pastures or try and come up with a better effect than you :P Your card would come in very handy in my Augmented Deathrattles Hunter deck for sure, so that's a high bar to pass.
I was thinking of your deck when I created it lol. It's not a perfect fit - if it buffed the Porcupine, that would be better - but they can still work together!
Sorry if I kind of sniped your muse out from under you :/
I'm gonna say I don't particularly like the idea of giving a prize, physical or otherwise. I think it makes the whole thing more competitive and the best thing of this comps is how casual they feel, despite the excellent general quality of the cards.
I can understand that. I won't say with certainty that we'll be doing this every Season from now on; we're just trying something different to encourage participation. Maybe it works, maybe it blows up in our faces, but we won't know without trying, and right now our level of engagement has been small to say the least :/ If it helps, the prizes are something small, more of a "oh, neat" reward than a "hell yeah!" grand prize kind of thing...if that makes sense.
Regarding your cards, isn't Deadmoon Raider an absurd removal option? As long as you control one Undead and one Pirate (or two of these), the Reborn and Rush will continuously come back, meaning you can trade into an enemy board with this one minion as many times as you can manage, APM style.
Anyway, with that being said, here's my idea; I'm not 100% convinced on the stat-line or cost, but I think it fulfills the prompt successfully:
It's similar to Spitelash Siren but focusing on the Hunter's two main minion-types and their Deathrattle affinities. Its placement in Darkmoon Races is very deliberate: I want it to be in the same Year as Augmented Porcupine especially, alongside cards like Zixor, Apex Predator, Carrion Studies, and Darkmoon Tonk. Mech being first in the text is also important: remember that Boomsday will have already rotated by then, so no Mecharoo shenanigans outside of Wild.
...I have a weird obsession with naming my Legendaries in the "(Name), (Descriptor)" style lol
Okay, now that Season 6 has officially begun, we have some important news to share: there will be a prize for having the most wins in the season! Like an actual, material reward for having the most wins, with something smaller for second and third place. More details will come tomorrow when we post an article on the site's front page advertising the comp, but just want to get it out there that this time, we're playing for keeps haha :D We expect your A-game!
And as an obvious reminder, we still expect you to play fairly. If we catch you making alternate accounts, or voting irregularly, we will come down on you as appropriate. Yes there's a prize involved, but we still do this in the name of fun. And it's not like we're handing out cash lol.
Edit: The prizes, for total clarity, are as follows: First place: 1 month of free Premium on the website + Derpcorn enamel pin + Derpcorn sticker Second place: Derpcorn enamel pin + Derpcorn sticker Third place: Derpcorn sticker
Congratulations to my colleague, Demon! You didn't win anything of value, per se, but your card will live on in the Winner's Gallery nevertheless lol :P
Finalist voting starts in about half an hour - keep in mind that we're dropping the total number of finalists from 8 to 6 this season. Good luck to everyone in the voting!

Well, that's certainly one way to spice up a Season with prizes on the line: starting with a tie lol
Congrats to Nobudy and Wailor!

As of this posting, you have about 25 hours left to submit! Good luck to everyone :D

How do your Soulfires cost 0? Mine definitely cost 1 in the deck-editor; is it messed up once you enter the game?
