Thanos and Galactus currently only appear from random effects, like Agent 13 or the X Mansion location. We don't have a timeline as-to when they'll officially make their way into the game as collectible cards.
Hell. Yes. All of my Yes-es. My faith in the Blood Rune has been restored! None of that handbuffing crap: put your opponent on the clock and straight-up outlast them with your Taunts and your removal and your Lifesteal. This is the kind of character I've wanted to play for ages.
You spend 6 corpses for this reload or board swarm card, and you get all those corpses back after the 1/2 taunts are removed.
You do not: "Risen" minions do not provide a Corpse when they die, to prevent endless recycling. They are the exception to the whole "friendly minions leave behind a Corpse."
Oh god, there's gonna be a 3B handbuff card, isn't there? That's not what I was advertised, and it's bumming me out. I'll probably end up playing it anyway, but I'm not super duper excited like I was before these reveals.
The Death Knight (so far) has four "Strike" cards: Death Strike, Heart Strike, Frost Strike, and Plague Strike. I see they're all named that in WoW, but it feels like they couldn't think of another word to use lol
While true, it doesn't really go with what we were told Blood DK might look like, with big minions, removal, and Health shenanigans. Handbuffing - more specifically, Attack-only handbuffing - seems unusual.
That's why I went...dun dun dun...Taunt Druid! lol. This Paladin tried to flood the board with Adventurers and low-cost stuff, so I kept throwing Taunts in the way until they conceded hehe
Gaining corpses with unholy DK is easy and this attack buff is a great finisher. This is kinda like a Bloodlust, so i think this will make a aggro SMOrc unholy DK viable. The only downside i can see is that you cant run a frost rune for more draw, but i feel like no-rune DK cards like Acolyte of Death will suffice.
The Acolyte has a Frost Rune :P Perhaps you were thinking of Chillfallen Baron?
You are allowed to Discover outside your given Rune loadout - there are no restrictions unless stated otherwise on the card (like the aforementioned Necrotic Mortician, or Frost Strike). So something like Venomous Scorpid or Pandaren Importer could be used to skirt around the Rune requirements.
The first wave looked great; these seem...okay, I guess. They don't have the "I want to play that!" hype like the Frost cards did. I could be persuaded to splash the 1U cards elsewhere, but at the moment I am not convinced to dive deep into the Rune.
It's great news that Blizzard is going to take the reins on this. But two things:
Shouldn't they have done so from the start? Why did a third party guy have to carry the load and stress himself out to help other people play a game that's not his? It's very awesome that he did that, of course, but that should not have been his responsibility.
It says "In a patch after March of the Lich King launches"; key word there being 'after'. It sucks that these players will be left out for the expansion's early days. This is a major moment, and they'll be on the sidelines because these tools weren't available on time :(
I don't know; maybe I'm off-base, but it feels like Blizzard gets to play "the hero" in this situation despite sort of creating it by not helping out more initially, and that doesn't seem right. Although as long as the people get the help they need it's a win, so...yay Blizzard?
This issue is not yet unbearable for me personally because I do not need that XP right now. Also, I have grown accustomed to the fact that every patch Team5 puts out will introduce new bugs, which is a real shame.
I wonder if this is truly a bug or a not-well-thought-out consequence of their new way of doing the tracks. Both the Hallow's End event and the Battlegrounds pass stop letting you complete quests once you've maxed out the respective track; did they do that for the main track as well? It seems harmless, but then again you won't have any quests going into the expansion for that initial surge of XP, which is unfortunate.
I could be off-base with that (cynical) interpretation, but that is where my brain went when I read your comment.
Plus he's from the Core set, so it's not like you pulled something uninteresting. Everyone is given the card for free! :)
Frost requires Corpses from somewhere for Marrow Manipulator, Defrost, etc., so on some level you need a card like this for the bodies if nothing else. He can be awkward for your opponent to deal with, as well, because it could snipe a minion or two on the way out or chip away at their face. Thassarian is just an all-around solid Frost Rune card that - while not flashy - will get the job done.
Deathchiller - Not sure how this works because the description is distinctly different from Flamewaker. I think if theres no minions then this only fires once at face. Maybe Im wrong.
You are correct: it requires two (or more) different enemies to fire both projectiles, otherwise it's just hitting face once per spell. Duels has other cards with this phrasing, for reference as-to its functionality.
So...yeah. Not exactly mini-Flamewaker, but could still be fine for chip damage whilst you whittle down their board.

I guess "swap" is not the same as "move", although he really shouldn't be affected by the Oscorp Tower in my opinion :/

Now that is worth somethin' haha. Put your opponent on the clock while you outlast them with Lifesteal and whatnot; let's do this!

Could be something they added in this update. "We're doing a pass on the tribal tags; might as well slap some on the eggs too."

Grave Strength says "instead", so it's not 4 Attack, just 3.

They needed to save space in the text, obviously, but the way Blightfang is written allows for the opponent's face to be infected lol

It will spend as many as it can: you have no say in the matter, outside of manipulating your Corpse total via other cards.
