idk, it doesn't seem that unlikely that the next expansion will launch in March when considering that Darkmoon Faire also launched a month earlier than usual.
They only stated that they are thinking about a classic rework in an Interview, but have nothing confirmed yet. It's just a rumor by now, plus they would only announce such a big change during the new HS year reveal which is presumibely at Blizzconline.
Isn't Blizzcon in November though?
They never announced a new year rotation in Blizzcon before, unless you are referring to another event.
I'm talking about Blizzconline which will take place in late february and is the replacement for this years Blizzcon. It would still be a bit early, but MdM also launched earlier than usual and if they are planing major changes they would definetely announce it there to reach a wider audience.

They are not resetting the Internal mmr(this would cause a huge chaos). I guess they reset your rating so you have something to work towards, because most players probably reached their own goal by now.

There is no such thing as external mmr because the external rating isn't used for matchmaking. The number you see is just ment to give you some sort of progression.
"We want our rating system to both provide a sense of progression through gameplay and create fair matchmaking. It’s very hard to achieve these two things simultaneously by using only one rating. Therefore, we designed a “dual-rating” system to address our intention. In the updated rating system, there are two ratings—external rating and internal rating:"

They already tried many different 2 mana hero-powers before they released DH. I remember a "Gain + 1 attack, can be used twice each turn", "Deal two damage and take two damage" and a "Gain +1 attack, attacking generates wrath" Hero Power (wrath was supposed to be a new resource for deamonunters with a new bar under the mana bar, but the Idea got scrapped because 1. what is if they want to try Archetypes that don't involve wrath and 2. they don't like the idea of an permanent UI addition)

We will still have in-game events, of course, but they will remain consistent with our existing approach to event rewards instead of rewarding bonus XP for the rewards track.
With the ranked reset to start the month, you will see those players for a few days. Then they will rise up the ranks quickly and you should start to face more appropriately ranked players.
It's been almost year and people still don't know what mmr is or how it works...

What? A company advertieses their product on their own platform? What a rare thing that only Blizzard does. Next you are telling me that they are doing this for years now.
PS: you can simply remove it by clicking on the "x"
(not trying to be mean, I'm just sick of all the "Blizzard bad" posts. Especially when they are trying to make something normal look bad)
No you are just wrong and massively misinformed. 1350 gold, does NOT fix anything. The minimum gold loss from the old system is 2000 gold.
Oh, it does change a lot. If you compare it now to the old system you gain 600 less gold, but gain 7 extra packs, an extra legendary and 2 tavern tickets for the same ammount of playtime. Plus events are still a thing. Also wonder why you would want to calculate the minimum gold gain instead of the average.
The free legendary and free packs for the expansion is obviously a bonus from the battlepass and not something that they have already been doing and would have still been doing for each expansion without the battlepass....(they gave out free arenas with expansions too, but i'll let you have that one since it wasn't for every expansion.)
I know what you are trying to say, but the result already subtracted the normal free legendary(you get one at level 1 AND 25) and the 3 Packs we usually get (I just looked it up and we actually got 6 packs for scholomance, but that's still 4 more packs they wouldn't have given out for free)

The "talking about starting on Monday" link doesn't lead anywhere currently.

That's because Strongman transforms into a new card with a base 0 mana cost while Mogu Fleshshaper only gets discounted.
Finally a Reader nerf, I've been sitting on my two golden copies for months now

I wonder if this means that we are getting a "Battlegrounds reveal Season"

Q
Do you seriously belive that the balance team is responsible for the economy?

Except that:
Consume Magic costs 1 more, and the card draw is conditional
Shardshatter Mystic requires you to draw and play another card beforehand which is much harder that just holding a dragon
Priestess of Fury unlike Ragnaros sucks at dealing with big minions

I'm sure they have internal data for this as most players probably didn't asked the support about this.

source because I'm to lazy to explain all the math here (starting at 6:00:00, result at 7:28:00)
I know this might sound weird, but maybe some people enjoy watching pros playing a new mode.
I mean, that's more of an observation than a calculating question.
