Yeah mainly it's because he doesn't synergize with Mecha-Shark or any of the 6 mech cost reduction effects. He's still objectively good but going mostly pure mech has been better since you still get 3 damage from each mech with the sharks pretty often and can play the mechs for cheaper.
100% agree, this deck has to be nerfed - they nerfed Darkest Hour Warlock for being similarly coinflippy but this is even worse and that one had more actual counters.
You may be right, in that case it’s even worse but Reno Control Mages may still play it depending on the meta (still 2 stars because that’s a very niche deck).
You can put in Satyr Overseers, they have good synergy with Multi-Strike.
Arthas
Year of the Gryphon
Yeah, the ability to get it really boosts Even Shaman’s power level quite a lot, especially if you can duplicate it with the weapon.
I wouldn't craft it until you've seen all 10 decks in the Wild Week series - some of them are really fun and you may like them better.
Depends on the rank - if you play in Legend anything that can't beat turn 3 otks from Druid and Priest will have close to 0% winrate.
Wait for those decks to be nerfed or play in Casual or lower mmr (Bronze-Platinum but below Diamond).

It’s definitely going to push the power of this archetype.
Yeah I think you put in Hakkar and Abyssal Curses for fun but the overall high draw and removal core is I think optimal.
Might happen sometime during this expansion.
For Galakrond, Bloodsail Flybooters and a few bounce effects will complete this effect easily.
You may be right, in that case it’s even worse but Reno Control Mages may still play it depending on the meta (still 2 stars because that’s a very niche deck).
Quest Mage has better options, I really doubt it would see play there.
I was originally going to give Mech Mage 4 stars but I think being bold with this prediction is more fun + promotes more discussion.
Even if it’s not tier 1 but tier 2 I’d call it a 5 star card given how rarely mage gets new archetypes in Wild over the years.
It’s already top of tier 1 and it gets better.
Thanks for pointing this out - should be fixed now.
