I'm sad that so many of these iconic games and characters were simply left out. All WoW players remember battling against Moonfang and Death Metal Knight, the world bosses. Or that undead lady selling orc meat and Inky Black Potions. Or the other ETC members. As much as I like Yrel and Lothraxion, I don't understand why would Blizzard put them into this expansion instead of any of the characters or games listed in this article. That brawler Shaman legendary, whose name I completely forgot, has no background or story whatsoever. Korgol Crushskull would have been a thematically fitting and already well-known character in her place.

This makes it seem like this expansion is made of design and art leftovers.

This is horrible. This practice from Blizzard is unbearable any more.

"You don't know everything." "You don't see the big picture." "More things are on the way!" "We've got lots of great ideas!" "It'll be different next time, we promise!" "Just wait until you see them released!" "You think you do, but you don't."  

"I'll help you calculate this new system!" Because there hasn't already been lots of player-made calculations showing how lackluster this new system is.

They deliberately didn't compare the new to the old one. No continuous graphs or tables, just 2 calculations. It was a planned decision from them not to give ANY concrete details until release. They knew what they were doing when they switched the 'Tavern Pass' name from Battlegrounds perks to the extra reward track.

Their words contradict the system we actually got.

It reminds me of Warbringers: Sylvanas, an important WoW cutscene. Everyone was guessing about who burned down the World Tree, Teldrassil. That tree is really important in both lore and gameplay. Blizzard has been hyping up this revelation to be extremely significant. It can't be Sylvanas, right? That'd be way too lazy and predictable. They said "Wait and see! Be surprised!"

It was Sylvanas.

Thanks Blizzard. We've had enough of your lies and obfuscated reasoning to distract us from your damaging decisions.

I got "Play 10 Corrupt cards". I swiftly rerolled it, because I don't want to wait a week to complete it. But I don't see it in this list.

It ends the spell chaining, and if you don't roll a Taunt, Aggro can just ignore it. By Turn 8, you're generally low on Health, and they can often kill you.

Yet another indirect nerf to Sethekk Veilweaver.

Even with Hero Power, the worst of all combos, this is a 5 mana 5/5. With 1x Air Raid (or Odd Hero Power!), this is 5 mana 7/8. With Day at the Faire, it's 6 mana 9/11, if upgraded, 13/17.

Broken, IMO, for 2 cards.

The new system will be introduced on tomorrow's prepatch, won't it? Then we have time until next day 19:00 CET, 1pm EST, right? That's when updates usually go on the launcher. Can we complete tomorrow's quest before that time?

Upgraded Youthful Brewmaster. It effectively doubles a Battlecry/Combo for 3 mana total. That seems good, Brann Bronzebeard sees quite a lot of play even in Wild.

What I meant is that this is a 4 mana minion that Silences another one. As such we can compare it to Spellbreaker, an already existing card. Compared to that one, this has clear upsides, so it's better. That's what I meant. Not "this is a minion, and that is a different minion." 

How much better we'll have to see, depending on the meta.

So this is basically Spellbreaker. With +1 Health and copying the target's auras and Deathrattles.

What deck would you use this in? You don't want to target friendly minions, because it either Silences the beneficial effects or copies the detrimental effects. This can't fill Prince Taldaram's niche, which was primarily copying Carnivorous Cubes.

And running it against enemies is just too unreliable. Same reason Mindflayer Kaahrj and Murozond the Infinite don't see meta-defining play, despite being powerful effects on their own.

Arcane Keysmith, anyone?

Ok, so N'zoth is already taken. Then how about Yogg? One of his effects is his classic one.

Old Set Callback - any of the Old Gods except Y'shaarj fit, don't they? Especially N'zoth.

Your best bet is Sir Finley Mrrgglton and Grizzled Wizard. Also works great against Odd decks and other Death Knights.

However, there's only point in teching if your deck consistently draws at least 2/3 of your cards, so something like Renolock can play it. Aggro decks are better off making their decks more consistent with synergistic cards and trying to race bad matchups before they draw their answers. Loatheb is the only one I'd recommend, because it's all around good.
