Holy Nova also heals your own stuff, and it does not need another card. I think this will revive the old tempo mage with secrets bare handed. It is great tempo play, a must remove card when played on curve, when saved for later turns when you have the secrets in hand its just removal + body = big tempo.
…This card is crazy. Can be used in aggro/tempo decks (say zoo) as a decent body with bonus effect, can be used any time in the game to heal up that big boy(s) the opponent desperately tries to remove, can be used with those battle cry minions that injure themselves etc.for only 2 mana. Very high value card.
Since I am a mage fanatic, I see some generally useful combo's with this card: [card]Conjurer's Calling[/card] beckons, and [card]Luna's Pocket Galaxy[/card] can be used to play him a bit earlier if you are very lucky of course. Jepetto can be used as well, but then your deck should have not a lot of other minions, or you are …
Well, say you use this, you get all these 1-1's with juicy deathrattles, then you put them on the bord and then...what? Hope your opponent will be so kind to kill them for you? Shiv'em all? Only decent use I see is with a Mecha'thun OTK deck.
I think we need more cards to make this work for each class. I have seen some classes getting cards that copy stuff, like warrior, paladin and warlock. I expect all classes will get some way to get this combo working, otherwise why make it a neutral.
But copying is really dangerous and can lead to all kinds of …
So what would be useful spells for this: any secret, [card]Arcane Missiles[/card], [card]Flamestrike[/card], [card]Blizzard[/card], [card]Power of Creation[/card], [card]Luna's Pocket Galaxy[/card] are the more interesting I can think of. But if you are desperately in need of that [card]Luna's Pocket Galaxy[/card] because you need it for your OTK, well, then it is a very useful minion. Or to get that last …
I hope we will see some new mage offensive secret(s?) as well to support this. Although that other minion makes the secrets already huge tempo plays.
I can see some curve forming: [card]Arcane Flakmage[/card] into [card]Kirin Tor Mage[/card] into [card]Arcane Keysmith[/card] into [card]Cloud Prince[/card]...nice.
Maybe throw in a [card]Mirror Image[/card] on turn 1 as well to protect your …
Turn 8? You mean turn 7 two times [card]Arcane Flakmage[/card] + secret = Flamestrike. Except you also have 2 bodies and a secret up. Insane stuff! And decent stats so it can be played for tempo on turn 2, like a sorcerer apprentice. I think mage will get at least 4 viable decks, tempo/secret, tempo/spell damage, conjurer/cyclone/giant and freeze. And …
Very strong card. Basically an extra fireball + body if you have a secret up. I am sure this will find a place in some tempo mage deck. But also control/freeze mage can use it as a removal tool. And elemental tag as bonus.
Warlock, Warrior and Paladin already have new ways to clone minions which makes it much easier to get the combo. I would not be surprised if every class gets a card to clone something, except maybe mage since that would allow exodia style infinite OTK, or even more ragnarosses with a duplicated [card]Khadgar[/card] etc. I have a deck that tries …
I can imagine copying some nice stuff like [card]Malygos[/card] for instance might make this a very interesting quest, or some similar card with powerful effects. Anything that can copy is extremely dangerous.
2 mana 2-3 is not bad stats. If you play him you discover a hero power so you can choose from 3 meaning it will always be useful for you. So I'd say its a solid card, not overpowered, should go in a highlander aggro deck (maybe with a lot of murlocs as well?) and will probably be a lot …
I don't think you always want to play this on curve, but it could be useful later on when you desperately need more minions. A 2-mana 3-2 draw one is very good stats, and the negative side compensates that. So decent card with circumstantial usage. Against opponents with big hands it might be useful, in a mirror against aggro it …
A cheap [card]Faceless Manipulator[/card] effect can be really dangerous. This is bordering on OP in my opinion. The Leeroy combo is already pretty awesome, but the mayhem will start a lot earlier I am sure. Another way to use this: first copy the Leeroy of the opponent (=5 mana) then play this (=3) and your inner rage and you have …
Quote From Marega Please not this again. I thought ppl on this website were better than on Hearthpwn as many ppl there are downvoting ppl that say its 8/8. In total u pay 4 mana and u get 9/9 minus the lackey u killed which ends up being 3/3+5/5= 8/8
In order to get a …
And, since all those mighty beasts will be turned into random murlocs anyway, hunter needs spells and weapons!
Well, mages had their fun with big minions, now its time to get back to basics, which is spells, damage and tempo play :). Maybe conjurers need [card]Counterspell[/card] now. Oh and also [card]Murloc Warleader[/card]. Just in case. Just conjure your apprentice, hope for [card]Underbelly Angler[/card] and let that [card]Murloc Warleader[/card] carry the day! Btw if the Angler is part of …
This is probably only useful in the mid-range beast deck or the secret deck. But what card will it replace? Maybe in the secret deck you are flexible and you can switch something, but in the beast one I can not think of a card that you want to replace for this.
I am currently having a lot of fun with this [deck]3178[/deck] a tempo mage variant. Tried some versions of it by now. When all goes well, you can win at turn 5. Even warriors can be beaten by this. You can have bad games ofc against other aggro decks when they win the battle for early bord control.
Ha well. What I do not like when playing against the rogue: this double battle cry mechanic can be really frustrating to play against, since
* you have to wait a long time before its your turn again
* then you face a bord full of minions
* and a beefed up Edwin
* and no …
