my whishes are:
1. Add a playmode for targeted matchups where both players can say what kind of matchup they are and want (aggro/control/combo-otk/mid-range etc)
2. Find a way to make your card back more visible while playing
3. Remove Omega Devastator or Dr. Boom from the game
I always thought infinite combo = OTK and is acceptable iff the chance of creating the OTK is really low or takes a lot of turns to collect.
But this all not an exact science. I would like to see some hard numbers. An OTK killing you on turn 2 is not funny I guess.
I can see why it severely restricts design space since these cards can turn any card with health>7 into an OTK. And priest has access to cards that give more health, so this winning combo is always lurking around the corner. Combined with mechs and magnetize this becomes even more problematic. I am wondering when this card is better than, say, a Novice Engineer. Value wise the lackey is always good value. Your hand size will remain the same which is relevant for my Mountain Giant. But if I am also looking for a specific card in my deck then Novice Engineer is better I guess.
