I have my doubts even with all the Pandaria stuff.
And honestly i hope dont get it, atleast for a good while ( a year or 2), HS already has enough trouble with balance and having evry class be relevant as it is, DH aslo didnt really help out with balance in HS.
And a new 11th class would mean either class cards for evryone so even less new stuff to try out and less cards to push stuff, and so if soemthing doesnt work out (like big spell mage or the fell stuff for lock) thats now even worse for the class. Or they add more cards to expansions and make it more expensive and HS is more then expensive enough as it is.
There may be lots of bugs, but hey. At least they FINALLY fixed the Edwin Vancleef portrait! It finally shows edwin when selecting a deck instead of a "default" Jaina! It only took them like a month or something close to that to fix that bug!
That being said, it's honestly quite baffling that every major patch has more and more bugs. The amount of bugs keep growing with each patch. I'm honestly wondering if the team that's responsible for bugtesting is either understaffed or overworked. (Which would honestly be quite unfortunate, and considering all the bad publicity that blizzard i.m.o. definately deserved, it would be hard to get new hires).... or maybe the "They don't bugtest lmao" joke is real, but that's something i REALLY hope is NOT the case. Either way i really hope that the bugs get fixed as soon as possible, and i hope the next major patch isn't going to be even buggier.
Could aslo be from old legacy code, and the people that orginaly wrote thet Code dont work at the company anymore.
Hearthstone was orginaly made only by a few people as a sort of passion/proof of concept projec and wasnt expected to becoem this big at all and has been quite the turnover aswell at blizzard with devs(not just Hearthstone)
This was exactly my question when I read that! I do expect the Dragon Aspects will stay in the game - can't very well have a Nozdormu day without Nozdormu, and those Dragons have been a central part of Hearthstone for a long time.
Of the other new cards, there aren't a ton you couldn't live without. Illidari Inquisitor is the one most relevant to any deck's win condition, while some like Nordrassil Druid and Crimson Clergy never really took off. Most of the ones that do see some play (e.g. Thrive in the Shadows, Bloodsail Deckhand, Taelan Fordring) could probably still see play in Wild after rotation, but aren't strictly necessary for the decks they'd support.
Id add Gan'arg Glaivesmith to that aswell (espcially if rotational unerfs happen again) for odd dh.
Yeah, I dislike the bundles. The Rexxar skin is rad but I'm not a big fan of the others in the bundle. I do like all the "cheer" skins though, but damn that's a high price to pay =/
I love the tyrande and valeera skins and dont care about the others and ofc theyre both in seperate bundles aswell
What i wanna see buffed is the big spell mage cards And wildlfire, Wildfire should work again liek ti sued to and if change hero power it carries over.
You can open drekthar/Vandar from packs and unlike Korak theyre not desenchantable for full dust, deqpirz that the questline will give you the other one gold (+one of them diamond later on for evryone)
An older non-evergreen keyword will be making a return in the future.
There's a few keyword that fit this:
Adapt - Was pretty fun and I'm sure can be used in other themes, I'm sure not only beast can adapt right?
Inspire - The effects would need to be much better than in TGT
Echo - This mechanic was abused in some circumstances but the entire expansion didn't showcase the mechanic well enough.
Magnetic - Probably one of the best mechanics and I know Dean and several devs really enjoying designing this mechanic. This one will probably be the keyword they talking about.
Twinspell - Wasn't bad, but Echo is just way better right?
Recruit aswell, since they like constantly keep using it
Deathrattles are cool but look at her 2nd hero power. It just Mind Blast! Combine it with Auctionmaster Beardo in wild and you will have the fastest HP OTK priest even without Raza the Chained. I already see nerf to this "Flip each turn" -> "Flip each use".
Beado otk is still turn 9 and alot of mana, (3 beardo +2mana for each hero power + cost of spells) while raza its just the cost of the cards(not just spells) and is more flexible due that and that can just use almost anything
Also raza + anduin always has the dmg hero power this only 50% of the time
the Battlecry is fine , but i dont like the hero power 1bit, Mana cheat has been the cause of alot of HS's biggest balance issues, so why make a Free mana cheat hero power -.-
I feel that hero power is just asking to break something/the game in future.
It probably has to do with it being a giant, and so playing with the giant theme of conditional discounts. Also, both Ivus and Lok'holar were summoned into AV, and usually only a long time into the battle after people had dumped all their turn-ins (and so were bloodied a bit).
And more speceficly for the icelord it was blood that the Horde turned in to summon him
As expected, AV! Maybe Warriors can create matches that take 2 hours to complete to honour vanilla AV.
I am looking forward to the new keyword they will introduce. I dont think they split cards Alliance and Horde faction, but maybe they reintroduce Trade and Frenzy or more synergies with that? as seen in the mini-set, Trade has a lot more potential then when it was introduced.
Probably lots of dwarves, but sadly not the Flames of Ironforge. Well, a man can hope.
2 hours? if its orginal AV before any changes/stuff removed its like 2days
Stats matter, especially in the earlier rounds. You won't live long enough to assemble your ultimate board simply because you lost that extra 6 health because your minion did not have that 2 attack to tie that one round. And this happens more often that one thinks.
Azalina Soulthief saw play in some hyper aggro decks that wanted an option for late game reload, so I imagine the new Mindrender Illucia will still be viable for that narrow purpose in highly aggressive Shadow Priest decks. Given the low card draw Priest has that might be good, but it's still a shame that the card no longer offers any disruption potential for slower control decks. Combo disruption seems like a great expression of the Control Shadow Priest archetype, so I hope we'll see more (and more focused) attempts at that in the future.
Azalina did not see ANY play outside toggwaggle decks.
And aslo even if did illucia still isnt good and the meta nowdays is far crazier then when azalina was around
I have my doubts even with all the Pandaria stuff.

Wish that was the standar

So does this mean if a card made for the core set (Korvas/taelin the new dragon ascpects) would leave we'd have to craft it then?
I love the tyrande and valeera skins and dont care about the others and ofc theyre both in seperate bundles aswell

Revert prep once its otu of standard, or adjust all the cards that ahve costed more due it is what id wan
You can open drekthar/Vandar from packs and unlike Korak theyre not desenchantable for full dust, deqpirz that the questline will give you the other one gold (+one of them diamond later on for evryone)
Hope they will change this, but i have my doubts

Its weird that despite the extra stuff on it, we dont have any tavish portaits in the pass here.
So tavish is/would be the only mercenary without any portaits, even more odd since AV is half about the stormpike dwarves which he is.
Beado otk is still turn 9 and alot of mana, (3 beardo +2mana for each hero power + cost of spells) while raza its just the cost of the cards(not just spells) and is more flexible due that and that can just use almost anything

Illdari like death knights remain to what side their race is on (so a night ekf dh will be on alliance or a blood elf Dk will be horde as example)
Alliance has: humans, dwarves, gnomes, night elves, draenei, worgen , Pandaren
Horde has: Orcs, tauren, trolls, forsaken(undead), blood elves, goblins, pandaren
2 hours? if its orginal AV before any changes/stuff removed its like 2days
Also matters for resummons from kangor
I want to do it in casual but i cant, cause now casual for me wont progress ANY quests
Azalina did not see ANY play outside toggwaggle decks.
