Axe Cow has to be Shaman. Isn't there some sort of weapon based Shaman build in WoW?
Enhancement is shamans melee dps spec in wow so thats whats she'd be.
Others are either healing (restoration shamans) or ranged dps (elemental) which focuses more on lightning bolts, laba bursts and occasional earthquake.
I don'T understand why they want Alignment Druid to be a thing. That deck is the most toxic one-sided BS ever conceived and if it wasn't for the absolutely garbage winrate it would be hated more than Tickatus and Rez Priest combined.
Yeah Alingment if Good is like 5mana pocket galaxy but even mroe extreme and your opoent can absicly do nothing to even try to sotp it.
And the highrolls from the deck can aslo be compeltly insane.
I dont get why lady anacondra isnt anythign to do with snakes or Beasts of any kind and is just nature spell cost reduction(and is only lege, dary so cant run 2 of them like brukhan)
powerfull but boring effect for legendary, doesnt fit the art or character at all
Bruh the price of the big bundle is the same price as a whole pre-order bundle for an expansion.
In the mentioned pre-order you would get at least 3 legendaries. 1 bundle legendary, 1 within the first 10 packs and 1 pity timer for the remaining 40 packs.
You get 40 packs less than a pre-order in this bundle so there's no pity timer legendary for you.
The legendaries are golden in this bundle though, meaning that you can disenchant them and basically craft two regular legendaries of your choice.
I would say that whether it is worth it or not, is decided by whether you are guaranteed a legendary within the first 10 packs of these standard packs, or not. That would essentially give you 3 legendaries of your choice which is better than 3 random ones (obviously).
Do we have any confirmation on the 10-pack rule when it comes to the packs included in this bundle?
as far im aware is no legendayr in firts10packs for golden packs and only for the guaranteed at 4
What do you guys think about nerfing Oh My Yogg so that it refunds the mana you used for the spell? Because a 1 mana Counter Spell is just way too good right now.
id rather see it cast a spell thats more epensive by like 2 or 3mana. So is a greater Risk to it.
And aso in wild would stop any chance of loosing all your mana if you cast coin or other 0cost spell due the forbidden spells from old gods
I think the meta is decent right now, but it's telling that neither Blizzard nor OoC has had a good "off-meta decks to try" article in awhile. It's not that the class balance is that bad (except Paladin and Shaman on the extremes), but it doesn't feel like there's any room for experimentation. If you're not running THE most effective decklist it just falls apart in this meta because the good decks are so over-tuned.
Still, it's pretty hilarious that Paladin was the main target of the nerfs and it's win-rate actually went up. I got massively downvoted a month or so ago for saying that Aldor Attendant should be reverted to a 2-mana 2/3, but that's exactly what should happen.
Almost all of the buffs were fine, but none were really worth any hype. Is it weird though that I think the Lillypad Lurker buff went too far even though the mechanic, archetype, and class are still unplayable? It's these kinds of decisions that really confuse the community. Everyone knows card draw is the main problem in Shaman, followed by an inconsistent/unsynergistic hero-power, followed by Overload being poorly balanced (Blizzard has gotten much better on this final issue with the Core Set buffs). So they release two buffs to the elemental archetype that address none of these concerns. Honestly though, I'm fine with Shaman sucking until the next Core Set rotation (maybe an updated/new hero power??) because giving it ridiculous cards to counterbalance the problems with the entire class is a recipe for disaster.
Aldor attendant shouldnt be changed at all.
If wanan nerf pally its conviction , oh my yogg, the secret weapon
So basically they will print even stronger cards in other classes to rival current Paladin and Mage dominance choosing powercreep instead of getting the current powrr level down?
If is mostly the same power lvl and eahc has the nescary tools(draw/removal/burst/whatever) to handle/remove other clases stuff then that works.
That can work, Fighting fire with Fire.
But Hs hasnt really ever had that so its doubtfull they'd pull it that are all equally broken the classes
If they can do ti,its could be great but if not and 1 or more classes are less broken then theyre going to be like shaman now or even worse and could end up really badly.
5 Nerfs? Seems like their really hoping the buffs will make a good impact.
My guesses for neutral nerfs are: Crabrider (Probably almost confirmed nerf, that thing is insane.) and Mankrik. (Kinda sad about that, but Mankrik is just really strong and in almost every deck.)
Other nerfs i think will be: Incanter's Flow and probably Darkglare in order to nerf Darkglare Warlock and APM Mage in Wild. (I think Iksarr did mention that those 2 decks were on their radar for nerfs.) the 3th nerfed card i think will be: First Day of School, because this makes paladin super strong in the early game and it's always annoying to lose to a paladin who got premium 1 drops from First Day of School. I also hate it when my opponent get's Blackjack Stunners 90% of the time from First Day of School... (Also i wouldn't mind seeing a Secret Passage nerf.) :]
For the buffs i think the caravans are possible, but will be hard to balance. (I dont want the paladin caravan to be good lol.) Other buffs could be for Shaman, and i think maybe Mana Tide Totem to 2 mana? Would be very strong (Maybe too strong) but Shaman is bad right now because of their lack of card draw. And buffing Dunk Tank or Tidal Surge to 3 mana would be really cool.
Considering their thinking about buffing underperforming archetypes i would love to see a buff to Hero Power Mage, and i guess maybe self-mill warlock and control warrior could get some buffs?
Buff Idea's for those classes/decks would be: Rancor: either "deal 3 damage" instead of "Deal 2 Damage", or buffed to 3 mana, Shieldmaiden: from 6 to 5 mana, Neeru Fireblade's imps from 3/2 into 3/3s, Coldarra Drake to 5 mana, but it would lose some stats. (Probably -1/-1 or -2/-1) Maybe give Rimetongues 1/1 summons rush? Kolkar Pack Runner has that effect with any spell, so why can't Rimetongue minions have rush? Rimetongue only works with ice spells AND it costs 1 more mana. Sure the tokens freeze stuff, but with a card like Rimetongue that has a very narrow application, it should have at least a decent pay-off i.m.o.
It could also be really cool if they buff Headmaster Kel'Thuzad in some way. (I know this almost certainly won't happen, but I really want to use him without hurting my decks winrate :(
2mana would nto be to strong, can look at caravans how often a 3hp 2drop lives
And drake i dont see it, its only good somewhat in wild even mage and beign 4mana removes that, if anythign it migth get taunt or something so if cant use the effect its more then a boulderfist ogre.
ALso for nerfs SPRING WATER is a bigegr issue then incaters flow
I think the Shadowform support will be in the miniset as they said they'll start exploring spell schools more there iirc, here's hoping we get some cool shadow priest toys
I still Heavly doutb anythign they do will make up for the second copy being Made Useless with the core set changes.
Is a 2-mana 0/2 Mana Tide Totem too broken? Lack of draw is the class' biggest problem. I think Vashj Prime is fine how she is. I just never seem to draw her.
IT wouldnt be broken at all, 2 hp is not hard to remove. I really really doubt even would be broken at 3hp (mean caravans are 3hp and atleats they have some attack)
That would certainly help Vashj, but I'm not sure how much it would do for shaman as a whole given you need good draw to reliably find her twice in the first place. So it depends on what the goal is: if you want Vashj to be stronger, then sure; if you want shaman to be appreciably stronger, then I'd look elsewhere.
Well i want Both Shaman to be better And Vashj to not be So Freaking terrible.
Vashj Prime - Literally the only Prime minion with garbage stats and no immediate impact on the board.
Having made a thread about the failings of Akama Prime just yesterday, I can't not chime in on this statement. I mean really? How did Akama get classified as having an immediate impact? It couldn't even be given taunt if it wanted to. Akama just has to hope it survives a turn to do anything, which is surprisingly difficult considering his whole purpose is to be tough to kill. Meanwhile, at least the spells Vashj draws can do something right away.
Anyway, I think Vashj Prime's main problem is that, as a prime card, you have to draw on average 75% of your deck to see her (helped out a little bit by possible extra copies from Primordial Studies). By that point, how many worthwhile spells are even left in your deck? And you certainly cannot plan for specific ones. Reducing her to 6 mana wouldn't really fix much, other than the rare times you draw her early.
I think shaman is better off getting a new OK bit of card draw (preferably one that draws 2+ cards) than patching up existing options.
What about Vahsj 6mana But discovers 3 spells youve cast this game
and for balance patch i hope incldues a few buffs aswell.
Like mana tide to 2 mana or if its 3mana still ,Atleast 4hp instead of 3 so doesnt die to evry 2mana removal spell out there after you spent 3mana to Draw 1 single card.
Flametonque Back to 3hp ,cause 2hp if dont imeadtly buff its hp via totemtic Might is so easly killed
And tidal surge to 3mana instead of 4 as +1dmg (and healing) isnt worth double the mana cost of pennance/drain soul
Shadowform to have 3dmg upgrade back cause was no reason to nerf an already terrible card.
Monks and i would like to see how they show the other races than pandas implemented in the class. I mean, I hope it won't be super-themed around only pandas since there are other races that can be monks like humans, dwarves, night elves etc.
And yet, we don't have Chen Stormstout in hearthstone, even after those years; isn't it a bit weird ? I guess we will have him finally as a hero portrait rather than a card. Don't having him as a legendary card was always makes it suspicous as monk class is coming or not at the first place.
We have him in a way in Hearthstone, as pandaren brewmaster cards depicts him.
Like how shatetred sun cleric shows lady Liadrin in the art.
- I'm actually a little intrigued by the suggestion of showing MMR figures per match. On one hand, it will definitely show some form of progression after you reach the rank you're comfortable with, and you can afford to lose matches as long as the MMR does not dip enough to lose you your star progress. On the other hand, it'll just create those scenarios where you lose to someone much lower level than you are and suddenly your MMR dips a ton, and you feel really bad about it. Worst still, you may have just lost to the cheesiest deck in the field.
- On the idea of buffs, here's a few suggestions;
Buff caravans to 4 health. It'll give shaman a much needed draw boost in Tinyfin's Caravan, and give priest more options on 2 other than Wandmaker all day. Keep the flavor (you know, like caravans reaching their destinations), but make it much much playable. I don't think I've even seen a single caravan so far.
Give Shadowform's its mind shatter back. Currently no one's playing this card and I can see why. There's no reason to ever put two in the deck and priest drawing like shit its a near miracle to ever draw that card and play it. It'll make the warlock matchup less like hanging on a threadrope if nothing else.
Dragonmaw Overseer to be 3 mana 2/3. Like seriously. Playing tempo priest is already a task in of itself. Why not make one of its worst card slightly less like smelling your own fart.
Professor Slate as a 2 mana 2/3? Im not too sure. But with pen flinger less of a bastard than it was, there's even less reason to play some form of spell hunter. Maybe slate as a 2 drop will at least let it see play if nothing else, but with face hunter back with a vengeance, Im hesitant to ever buff hunter cards. I was thinking of a making a slower hunter feel better to play
Lone Champion as a 3 mana 3/4. More tools against aggro. Just a suggestion.
For buffs idea i got one ive wanted for ages now. Natalie Seline being cheaper but less attack ala 6mana 6/1 for example, if wasnt 8mana would help more to be flexible and can asnwer things on time actully and might acctully be usefull as more of a top end card for a tempo priest of some kidn(if they ever the draw to support that is)
Regarding Shadowform, I'm willing to wait for the other sets this year before judging the changes to it. It's not the only card in the Core set that currently lacks support, and I assume everything in the Core set will make sense by the end of the year.
Unless make something on lvl of play shadowform and win the game as support i dont see shadowform beign good whatsoever/
Priest has the new tutor spell from core set btu its still really lacks draw to get it consisttnyly. and it also swaps purpose fo your hp and the seocnd copy is useless outside a 2mana refresh yoru hero power.
And like widlfire is a straight up betetr card in evry way and mage has actua draw which priest doesnt.

as far im aware is no legendayr in firts10packs for golden packs and only for the guaranteed at 4
Cool are getting golden pack/legednayr bundles but these are expensive, 100% not buying the bundles at all

personally id like to :
Spring water Refresh 1mana
Conviction to +2 Attack.
Crabrider to 3hp.
and for balance patch i hope incldues a few buffs aswell.

Diamond Ragnaros is cool.
The portaits look pretty good, love the valeera and jaina ones
And quilboar tribe for constructed is unexpected thought was gonna be bg only.
But unless add some quilboar synergy i dont think tis effects anyythign for cosntructed

Buffs and unenrfs(espcialyl ones before card rotates out of standard) should be more standard/common in general.
