- Finishing all five chapters on Normal gives you the Prize of Shadows card back.
- Finishing all five chapters on Heroic gives you the Got Away with It! card back.
- Completing all five chapters gives you a Golden Classic Pack. So sweet!
- Owning all five chapters gives you the Anomaly mode. Random twists in each wing, decided at the start of a run.

Comments
Reached Vargoth (battle 10) twice without any problems, once with Paladin and once with Druid.
Then it's board clears every turn so even my doubled deathrattles couldn't keep up.
Frustrating as hell.
It was quite a ride, really liked the adventure in general!
Hope to get some as good as this in the future. (In a different format if possible)
i choose evolve hero power + Quest Murloc Shaman + 3 minion bomb at start , play as aggro as can, Bang the Khadgar well with big fat murloc
Just barely started it just ot see and realized something: starting even Normal mode with the random added effect on might not be a good idea.
I have "randomly get rush/divine/whatever" and nearly got slammed by the third guy thanks to them getting rushing folks and me having my divine shield minion get divine shield and everyone else getting windfury uselessly.
And judging by how everyone seems to be winning with 0 maan sound the bells it makes me wonder about the difficulty of 100% completing this thing with every class, deck, and hero power.
Zero mana Sound the bells + stealth minions so OP. Now it's time for heroic.
I cracked it. Turns out that paladin + divine shield hero power + minions cost half as much + handbuff minions + battlecries trigger twice = easy win.
Rin, the First Disciple + Emerald Goggles = Easy win. Neither Kalec nor Khadgar could do much of anything after Turn 8.
Pretty rough. Failed multiple times. Ended up beating heroic with evolve shaman hero power, stargazing and robes of gaudiness.
I was going pretty good doing chapter 5 in anomoly mode (all minions have a 50% chance to miss their target) until Kalec. My wife wanted me to choose deck of wonders because it would be funny. Well, it was until I drew it at around turn 4 and it became the spell that draws my entire deck. 11th boss and book of wonders got me. The game seemed to be programmed to take advantage of this. Kalec started playing cards that made me draw and therefore fatigue
Lost last night with Warlock, but breezed through the 12 bosses today with Paladin (normal). I've cleared chapters 1 - 4 heroic, but I can already tell this is going to be brutal on Heroic.
However, I did get a game-breaking combo with Paladin even though I didn't draw it the final three bosses. If you reduce the cost of Sound the Bells! to 0 in Bob's tavern, the echoes also cost 0. It's way more consistent than the treasure that turns your minions into legendaries, even if casting it 70+ times takes a while (turn your speakers down if you get tired of the CLANG every time you play it).
The last chapter is awesome. I love how long the run is.
This is the first chapter I didn't get all the way through on the first run.
Tried it twice now with the paladin and came up just short both times.
Sound the 0 mana Bells!
OTK fun with the Pally. Mana cost reduction of [Hearthstone Card (Sound the Bells) Not Found] to 0. Echo will do the rest :-)
"Yup ... that's me! You're probably wondering how i ended up in this situation..."
No srsly ... i think this needs a hotfix. It's funny but, kinda lame and i don't think it's intended.
vs. Kazamon Steelskin
vs. Dalaran Fountain Golem
vs. Aki the Brilliant
vs. Archmage Vargoth
vs. Archmage Khadgar
Honestly i expected the EVIL plan to fail with a final plot twist!
I am not sure i am ok with the Kirin Tor defeated by a bunch of wierdos, and Dalarn carried away by giant rockets....
Guffaw! I felt fine with it
still a long year ahead of us. my guess is, we take the city back as the good guys before next year.
I love that all three of the Warlock hero powers are “Take 2 Damage” and do something else. Talk about on theme!!!
You just can't lose with Robes of Gaudiness.
