Doesn't have to be big spell... you can just follow it up with a 4 mana spell on curve... Or you can just activate it with Brawl
Hmmm...what is a kind of weapon both paladins and warriors will use?
I know. Its going to be a big hammer, colored red, and christened with the name 'ceremonial'
A little underwhelming at first glance. Well, okay, its very underwhelming.
Theoretically you play this, and next turn get a massive taunt minion, but since warrior rarely plays big spells (biggest Ive seen is perhaps Brawl) and paladin's librams are massively discounted, this will likely just not make the cut in any deck.
Maybe big warrior? with Dimensional Ripper. Not really that amazing to be honest.
This may provide some extra kick in Paladin, maybe Pure Paladin.
I don't see it in Warrior, at least not with the currently available cards. Not even in Wild.
Seems neat, but there aren't any good 4 Drop Spells in both Classes rn, so curving out and taking full Advantage of the Effect, before the Weapon gets removed, could be tough. The best I can think of is Molten Breath.
My understanding of spellburst is that the weapon (or minion) doesn't have to still be in play for the effect to resolve. Once played, the keyword is activated and the next spell, whenever it may be, gains the effect. The only real question is what happens if counterspell is active.
I'm pretty sure the minion/weapon has to stay on the field
Spellburst weapon... Nice... 4/4 taunt if on curve (especially in Paladin who has a lot of 4 mana stuff to follow up). but off curve is ok too, because you can get a better taunt...
Only question is. Does spellburst activate before Brawl or after Brawl?
After. The spell has to resolve first.
Then it is really good
Remember never to use coin after playing this
Just play the coin before the weapon. T4: Coin + Maul + Air Raid = 2/2 weapon + 2x 1/1 with Taunt + 2/2 with Taunt. Not that bad.
depends on how it is coded... using coin with The Fist of Ra-den actually doesn't waste anything because there are no 0 mana legendaries. Maybe this weapon also won't trigger of 0 mana spells... who knows... Needs more testing.
Spellburst should definitely trigger after any spell is played. There are Spellburst cards where this would be intended (the new AoE Spellburst f. e.)
Well of course... but if particular spellburst effect can't do anything, then will it trigger?
I look forward to those trolden clips.
True, can't wait for some Funny Moments where someone has this weapon and wants to coin out a spell :)
