Gz on the card reveal Dekkster!!
Decent use of Reborn but not great. Arena card probably.
Meh, I think Cursed Disciple was better. Traded better due to higher attack and lower mana cost. The Stealth doesn't really do too much here. AoE will still kill it.
I think the stealth will make this trade better instead: Cursed Disciple would often get traded into by 1/1s and/or targeted by hero powers; the stealth on this will give the owner a better chance of picking trades instead of the opponent.
I don't think it's worth 5 mana though, especially since Cursed Disciple at 4 saw little play (mainly with Jungle Giants which itself wasn't played a lot). Another similar card, Shadow Rager, also saw little play for 3 mana, so while high-attack stealth has potential in theory, it wasn't all that great in practice.
Ok this is one of the packfillers IMHO
Assasin but Mummy but Assasin...
Maybe good in arena?
It's too bad this on 5 mana lines up perfectly with triple Warpath on 6 mana, not to mention Earthquake a turn later...
Overall, shamans seem to be the big winners for this expansion: excellent removal/neutralization with Plague of Murlocs and Earthquake, and a powerful quest (Corrupt the Waters) which synergizes with existing cards (Sludge Slurperand the lackeys) and new ones (Weaponized Wasp).
I like this a lot. This will be a card that pops up in Arena and will cause some headaches for the opposing player. I think there's an outside chance it sees play in constructed. Let's say you absolutely had to keep your opponents board clear at all times. How would you get rid of this? It's super slow, but it has combo potential.
Warpath says hi
Frankly I'd be happy for warrior to use up their warpath on this.
Only good for random summon effects such as Conjurer's Calling and Evolve and arena.
Well, There must be a card like this in the pool.
Maybe it doesn't make a place in a deck but we probably don't like to enocunter it because it is a sticky minion.
Mage's Conjurer's Calling and random spell generation which can bring that spell in any Mage deck even it doesn't a Conjurer Mage and Shaman's Big Bad Voodoo + Mutate which [Hearthstone Card (Hagathai The Witch) Not Found] can always bring them to shaman decks can summon Wasteland Assassin minion from some other 4-5 cost minions.
What I meant is, it can be scary to face it from random encounters. So it is a good card for card pool but bad card for construct a deck in it.
Extremely sticky since it will stealth after its reborn. Maybe its stickyness can make it worth it somewhere...
really cool art though, love it!
Okay calling it now.. the second paladin epic card will be supporting this reborn mechanic to tying things together.
I think the driving idea behind these Reborn minions' low health is the expectation that they will mostly be played by Paladin for the quest, and thus get health bumps from Never Surrender!
when you have a minion with such low health and give it reborn, you might as well give it divine shield, I dont usually like to be a hater but the reborn keyword does not seem very interesting.
Except the difference here is that it will have Stealth again when it is summoned with 1 Health.
Dem wraps!
sucks
It's a Jungle Panther that draws you an Ancestral Spirit. Seems alright!
