Blizzard has addressed continued issues with Daily and Weekly quests in Hearthstone and has stated there will be compensation for those affected.
- Blizzard is continuing to work on issues with Weekly quests.
- They are hoping to apply a hotfix for Daily quests this week.
- Compensation for issues with Weekly and Daily quests may arrive next week.
Quote From Kerfluffle Since the launch of the new daily and weekly quest system, we’ve been working to correct an issue that could prevent some players from receiving weekly quests, and we’ve recently discovered that daily quests can be affected in some instances as well. They are separate but related issues, so here’s a quick update on both.
Weekly Quests
Last week, we put out an initial fix for this issue, but we’ve found instances where the issue could still occur. We’re working on the fix to prevent all instances of this issue from happening in the future. We’re also aware that some players have missed one or even two weeks of weekly quests, and we’re in the process of identifying all affected accounts so we can provide the missing XP. Please be aware that the compensation may not happen until next week and may happen in different groups at different times. We’ll give updates as soon as any new progress is made.
Daily Quests
We’ve recently identified the issue with daily quests and believe we have a fix. We’re hoping to apply this fix this week and will provide an update as soon as possible. Similarly to weekly quests, we will be offering compensation for those who missed out on daily quests. We’ve just begun the work to identify affected accounts and determine the right way to compensate them. We’ll have an update as soon as we know more, but the best estimate for compensation is currently next week.

Does anyone else just get the 800 XP daily quest since the change of the reward track?
Re-rolled every time, bust just get 800 over again. I have to keep one spot open and need to fulfill one of three, to not miss on even more XP.
I'm not looking for any extra compensation or making a list of demands.. I think a lot of people take it a bit far but this is the internet. I've been around since Kobolds and Catacombs and I'll say this new system does feel a lot less rewarding. I usually do a pre order and an occasional mid season bundle. This time around I chose to go for the bonus experience on the rewards track. As someone who only has time to complete dailies it feels like I'm getting less in return and having to spend the extra money to get there, and that's a problem.
I would like to see them re-implement the 10g per 3 wins. There should also be a lot more gold / dust / pack rewards on the level track. 3 daily quests before would on average get you 200 gold and you could do whatever you wanted with that at no extra cost. Now my options feel restricted and my rewards feel picked for me. I won't continue to spend on this game in the next year if that's how restrictive they're going to be with reward systems when the premium is so high.
I don't suppose they plan on changing the achievement UI so you don't have to click them to get the points. Is this like the only Blizzard game that does that?
and no word at all about the new crappy reward system in general.
Well played activision Blizzard.
At least they have good stats for the cost
I understand people are frustrated but they did respond:

Just because you don't like the response or level of remediation given, doesn't mean they didn't respond. Hyperbolic statements and meme-spewing/brigading against Blizzard doesn't help the "reddit revolution". In fact, the over-reaction by people and constant meming about blizzard actually detract from the overall message that people are trying to send.
In short it makes the people who are unhappy look like a bunch of whiny entitled babies, instead of people who just want good value for their time and/or money.
They respond and gave us packs after 30 level the thing is the system still sucks and they havent respond since thats what i mean.
Nah, it makes people like you look like entitled babies because you don't like what most of the community is feeling and want them to feel different.
As always, they won the gold medal at sistematically avoid thorny topics
Yesterday I didn't receive both the daily and the weekly quest and pretty sure I was not going to be compensated in any way. I was about to stop playing HS.
not sure why people thought they weren't going to be compensated
historically speaking when they fucked up big time, each time they compensated everyone
I am one of the ppl affected and I for a second didn't doubt I will get my xp back
Because you're a sane human being who has reasonable expectations and not part of the reddit hivemind that is trying to brigade against a gaming software company?
There are many things in life to get upset over. Your gaming hobby that has a poor rewards system is not one of those things.
What about the weekly quests that don't track progress? Like the play 50 corrupted cards? I restarted my client and the progress still doesn't appear :/ So forced to reroll that quest, not cool blizzard. Fix your damn bugs, you have a QA team for a reason
you have to play the card BEFORE it is corrupted. That will work until they fix it
Oh lol, my bad, that's still a silly design though :( usually uncorrupted cards are bad and can loose you the game
Yeah that is really stupid and I don't think it is intended. But as we know Team5 they won't fix it before the next expansion
So... is any of this going to fix the fact that tavern brawl no longer counts for getting quests done?
Hopefully. I think that was working for me. All I know is that I did the brawl last Wednesday a few times as warrior, so I'm assuming I had a play 3 games as x, y, or z quest, and those games counted towards it. Otherwise, I think I would've stopped.
Edit: Well it definitely didn't work for the current brawl when I tried yesterday.
Fast marketing tips
Promise a better reward system for players to bring the hype up, get more money and more players, then release a broken and buggy system, get critics, then tweaked it. Profit.
The only solution to this “corrupted” business plan is to give them 1 star in store. It’s the only way that our voices can be heard.
oh wait. It’s happening. the score is now 3.9 on Playstore when I reply this.
Internet magic. Do your things.
And you do realize brigading is actually against the EULA in all of the app market places right? You want to leave a 1 star review that's fine. Encouraging others to leave 1 star reviews just to satisfy your own agenda is not.
I don't deny that the rewards track rewards are underwhelming, but my life has many other higher priorities than getting riled up and vitrolic and acting like an entitled brat on reddit over a digital card game.
