When Hearthstone's 19.4 patch is released on January 21 with the launch of the new mini-set, The Darkmoon Races, the Arena will be swapping over to a new rotation! This rotation will include:
- Darkmoon Races Mini-Set
- Madness at the Darkmoon Faire
- Scholomance Academy
- Ashes of Outland
- Demon Hunter Initiate
- The Boomsday Project
- Journey to Un'Goro
- One Night in Karazhan
- Basic
- Classic
"Free" Tavern Ticket
Since the new rotation will not only add new sets but also remove some, we should expect a free Tavern Ticket for our unfinished Arena runs. As per usual, start an Arena run, leave it at X wins and a maximum of 2 losses and get a reward equal to the amount of wins you left the run with, plus a Tavern Ticket when your run gets retired with the rotation.
With the introduction of Duels in Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, Arena Ticket changed to a Tavern Ticket that can be redeemed for entry to either game mode, giving you more options on how to spend it. There will happen a separate Duels rotation, so it stands to reason we should get a Tavern Ticket for an unfinished Heroic Duels run as well. I will test that myself, to see if that will hold true. Feel free to join me, who has spare 150 g, or plays Duels regularly.
Don't forget that Arena entries close a few hours prior to the expansion launch based on your server time, Duels will most likely follow suit. So chop-chop!

Btw, it would seem that Heroic Duels did not get a reset, kinda surprised to be honest, but oh well. It was the first instance so it was a gamble, you can still play out your run to use up the entry. And if you dont like the game mode, you can keep it as an investment and see if we get "lucky" next time with a proper expansion launch.
I drafted a decent looking Shaman deck and promptly lost my first 2 games. The ticket will be a nice do-over. I'll leave a Duels run at 2 losses to test, as well, though I assume a full reset to ranks there would necessitate a closed run & ticket.
Man i had a really awesome priest draft, like exceptional, and i still didnt find myself playing it in two months, pretty sad that arena leaves me with such a bad feeling lately that i dont even want to play the good decks.
I've been at xx90 (or xx40) gold and have a ticket from whatever rank awarded that. I'll use the ticket for this and hopefully get exactly 10 gold to have a nice round number.
Or you get 15 gold and can uninstall the game, eh? 😂

I hate One Night because of those stupid RNG portals
They are much less impactful than back in the day though. Now we have proto drake, same thing but worse.
Oh and knowing Lady Barov, there is a lot of middle ground in the 5 mana slot for firelands portal, and Draconic egg and desert Obilisk aren’t even in the rotation.
Also, there are many Un’goro cards that will make up for it
