Slow down there, Wretched Tiller! Our farming friend was going a little too fast on his tractor and got caught by the Blizzard police and will be serving some time in jail next week.
Dean Ayala confirmed on Twitter this evening that a change will be arriving "sometime next week" for the interaction which may just be the easiest OTK combo to pull off in a game. Until that happens, we recommend staying away from Wild because the ladder is absolutely infested with vine hysteria! Not sure how the interaction works? Want to make people hate the fact they decided to queue? Here's how it goes!
- Play Wretched Tiller.
- Make the Tiller immune by playing Deathspeaker.
- Cast Hysteria.
There will, of course, need to be other minions in play for this to work as Wretched Tiller will need to perform at least 15 attacks, dealing 15 damage to minions in the process and 30 to the enemy hero. No details have been provided on how the interaction will be nerfed.
And Wild fans say Blizzard never gives them any nerfs. Sorry, I had to say it, you can't give me a podium and have me not make a comment like that. Love you.
Quote From IksarHS Looking to get a change out for the Tiller/Hysteria interaction sometime next week. Hope this farmer enjoys his time in the sun while it lasts!

Possible Wretched Tiller nerf:
It is not much of a nerf sure it reduces consistency and shrink doesn't work, but you van still just wait for 15 health on board which is consistent enough...
Or "the first time this minion attacks in a turn, deal 2 damage to the enemy hero"
If by nerf you mean infinite damage loop off of one minion then yes, that totally fixes it. You've essentially recreated a 1-card lifesteal Shadowboxer combo with that wording.
That wont change anything. You dont need him to have 0-Attack to pull off the combo.
I think they should change Hysteria since it's the brand new card and instead of saying until it dies say until one dies.
Priest in Standard absolutely needs this card to stay intact. It would be a shame to change it already.
Make hysteria not castable on immune minions, because it states 'untill it dies' and the minion cannot die. This also prevents some possible future immunity abuse.
This is a FANTASTIC suggestion. I hope they either do this, or they could change Deathspeaker to give minions the Moonfang effect for a turn instead of Immunity
Yeah, screw those wild fans who love the format, but see how standard gets their nerfs even before broken cards combos are released. But, wild, even with Blizzard being told before the release date, still have to sit around and watch wild be a turgid playground for a week.
Very inclusive and friendly of you. Good use of platform. Great site, love you.
Hooo boy. Have a sense of humor, dawg. This is just a children's card game.
As crazy as it sounds, I enjoy playing Wild and I also can appreciate some light humor poking fun at some portion of Wild players.
I'll copy-paste a comment I left up here.
There are two possible scenarios:
"Blizzard Costs A Hardworking Farmer His Job"
THEY TOOK HIS JERB!!
Hopefully it's not the only change.
Good. Glad they're not letting this one "play out" like they did with Naga Giants. Remember Naga Giants? Remember that they left that thing untouched for NINE MONTHS? Remember how long they let Darkest Hour infest the meta? I 'member. Glad this isn't that scenario. It's a bit sad that what we'll be coming back to is the same Raza Darkglare meta, I would really like to see some change there, but it's better than this.
So glad they've communicated this quickly - already was staying away so good to know resolution on it's way next week.
A nice change to see them getting rid of this interaction so fast.
Probably change either how immune works (cant be targeted by spells) or change hysteria to something more like how Deathwing, Mad Aspect works. I can't see them ever nerfing both the farmer and the speaker directly.
I wonder which card they'll nerf. If I were them, I would change Deathspeaker because Immune is a keyword that leads to a lot of problematic combos and unintended interactions. If they don't nerf Deathspeaker, they'll have to keep it in mind whenever they make new cards.
They'll probably change Tiller to "Deal 2 damage to the enemy hero the first time this attacks each turn."
