Please change it to something more different, something "innovative", something that may benefit from Spell Damage...
Now we have lost Frostbolt perhaps something like:
· Deal 3 damage to 1/2/3 random enemy minions and Freeze them - 2 MANA
I kind of love this.
it's a zero mana spell, which is great, but I wish it wasn't random.
Looks worse than most other freeze cards at first glance but this costs 0 mana and that makes it relevant. If it costed 1 it would immediately be compared to Ray of Frost (which is probably the most played card in Mage since its introduction 2 years ago) and that would diminish its chances of seeing play quite a bit. But Mage is losing most of their freeze cards so it's very likely that this is going to see play anyway because of a lack of options.
Seems like a good card, but I am so tired of Mage being turn into RNGclownfiesta class.. Just let me fling spells damnit..
Oh god .. again this garbage no ...
I am fed up with all this random bullshit... they have turned my favourite fantasy archetype in a mere casino (in case the game itself wasn't casino enough yet)
In other words, they take away Frost Nova and Blizzard to put this? Really? Remove this shit and return Frost Nova!
This lack of imagination is worrying... they just repeat the same thing again and again but in different shapes... How many cheap freezing spells do we already have?
Is there anything you can be happy about with this game?
The vast majority of the time, targets for this are not fully random, because you play it after narrowing their board to ensure it hits the right minions. Do you even play Hearthstone?
It’s such a great card that it will be included against opponents in evenheroic solo adventures. LOL.
Step 1: Take away Frost Nova
Step 2: Proceed to design a 0 mana spell that can reliable freeze at least 2 minions
Sometimes I wonder if the dev teams are working on so many things simultaneously they don't even notice stuff like this.
This card is just insane in so many ways. Develop minion, play this and instantly switch tempo in your favor. The only mitigating factor would be the paltry fact that it hits random targets, but good players would know how to maximize chances anyway. Besides which, its 0 mana. You can do any number of things and still be able to play this card.
The fact that Flurry revealed Flurry (Rank 1) is just absolutely hilarious. Well done Blizzard, least you got some humour
So what are the chances there's a card named Flux in the pipeline?
Oh God oh no. No please. No God.
0 cost. 0? WHY ?!??!?!?!?!
I have a feeling this would be absolutely annoying to play against.
Did you already forget Ray of Frost!??!
Flurry reveals Flurry? But he isn't the world champion, is he?
Would be nice if the Paladin ranked spell would be "Glory"?
I feel weird that other class get 2 mana ranked spells, but Mage got 0 mana. Why not create some ranked spell for Mage that suitable for 2 mana?
I think all that really matters is that the rank spells all cost 2 or less. Any higher and you'd always wait 'til you have 5 mana, but going lower is perfectly reasonable. Besides, there are still 4 more rank spells to see, so at this point we don't know that mage is the only class whose rank spell doesn't cost 2.
easy 5 stars. it's effectively Freezing Potion worst case scenario, (okay sure this can't target a minion.) and it only gets better the longer the game goes on. Also it's 0 mana, which is always super strong. Never underestimate 0 mana cards.
I think that this card will see plenty of play in control mage decks, and maybe hero power mage.
