Next week on April 21, Hearthstone is holding the Crossroads Inn-vitational for Forged in the Barrens which puts 20 of Hearthstone's top content creators into two teams to compete for a $100,000 prize pool.
Unlike previous inn-vitationals though, there's a really awesome third round in which all players must put Nozdormu the Eternal in their decks! Read on for all the details.
Quote From Blizzard Prepare yourself hero, the Crossroads Inn-vitational is just around the corner! On April 21, starting at 10:00 a.m. PDT, 20 Hearthstone creators will be split into two teams, the Northwatch Hold and Camp Taurajo, before battling it out for their share of a $100,000 prize pool!
How it Works
Competitors will assemble a 30-card Standard deck list using at least 10 cards from Forged in the Barrens, before playing through two best-of-three rounds against different opponents on the opposing team. One team point will be awarded for each individual game victory within a round, regardless of who wins. Three team points will be awarded for a clean 2-0 sweep.
Then, each team will play a 3rd round, the BARRENS BLITZ round, which is a best-of-five where all players are required to have Nozdormu the Eternal in their decks. One team point will be awarded for each individual game victory within the BARRENS BLITZ round, and five team points will be awarded for a 3-0 sweep!
Finally, when a player loses a round for the first time in the event they’ll become “Frenzied” for the next round, meaning any team points earned by that player are doubled!
It all happens on April 21 at Twitch.tv/PlayHearthstone and YouTube.com/Hearthstone!

Hey look, it's the same few people again. Would be nice if they would've put this money in actual competitive Hearthstone, which saw its prize pool get slashed this year, instead of giving already wealthy streamers a free $100.000. Also only 2 women, really Blizzard? I think they could highlight a more diverse cross-section of the community than almost entirely North-American men.
Basarcos is new and a nice guy.
Pretty much my sentiments. Feels bad when Masters Tours get their prize pools greatly reduced and not even a crowdfunding bundle, but inviting mostly the same people (who largely stream Hearthstone 90% of the time anyway) over and over again is somehow meant to help promote the game further.
For the Alliance!!
Always the same and the same people, this is becoming really boring..
What if Tickatus burns Nozdormu? Does time slow down? Is it like traveling near the speed of light? Those damn dirty apes!
By the way, I have Nozdormu in each of my decks. Never encountered another one on the ladder
Only aggro decks want to have only 15s a turn and if it's aggro vs aggro, chances are that both of you'll already take only less than 15s to play your cards, so most players agree that nozdormo is just burning a card slot, making it 1 card less effective.
