We don't have much time! If you haven't finished your Fire Festival quest chain for Druid of the Flame Malfurion, you've got today to finish it up. Although the quests will continue to be available until late morning (US timezones) on July 27, its best to stop procrastinating and get it done.
What is the Fire Festival Questline?
Here's the full chains of quests you'll need to complete in order to unlock the Druid of the Flame Malfurion skin.
- Enter the Firelands
- Play 10 Fire Spells.
- Fires of Competition
- Play 3 games in Ranked Play Mode.
- A Fiery Duel
- Play 3 games of Duels.
- Righteous Flames
- Play 3 games as Paladin.
- Beasts of Burn-den
- Play 3 games as Hunter.
- Embrace the Firelord
- Play 10 games as Shaman.
- Happy Fire Festival
- Play 3 games as Druid.
In total, we'll need to play 25 games of Hearthstone and 10 Fire Spells to obtain Druid of the Flame Malfurion. Oh, yeah, you'll also get some Year of the Phoenix packs along the way.
Luckily, none of these require wins so you can cheese the quests by losing games. Put together some randomized decks and go to town! Though, we always encourage you to actually play the games...

Just want to add that you dont have to do this in ranked. Just go casual duels where its guaranteed that your opponent will want to sear your arse quick instead of wasting your time.
You dont have to win, just play, reach 15 hp and concede. Its literally that simple.
I clicked the little X in right upper corner in time.
Probably the best free skin that has been offered in a while (not counting the 1000 win, rewards track, or 200 levels skins). Plus I cracked 2 legendaries off of the free packs. Worth the slog!
playing 10 games as a shaman after playing 3 games as paladin and hunter felt like a slog.
at least Shaman's really good right now but still
Do we have an actual exact time on this?
It should be 1 PM Eastern on July 27 that the quest inactivates. That is 10 AM Pacific or for those in Europe 7 PM CEST. This is the usual time that Blizzard ticks stuff over like shop deals, expansion launches, or even their blog posts. "1 PM" is what we like to call GO TIME and almost always have someone watching every day for something to happen because of it.
I have never trusted Blizzard to get the timers right though so get it all done today if possible.
Ah, so it's actually tomorrow? The main post above says "will continue to be available until late morning" with the implication being "late morning today."
Thanks for clarifying!
That's one of those funky timezone things. Its just as awkward as posting about the new Hearthstone season starting between the regions, meanwhile, asia has already had it for a dozen hours and the Americas is still a few hours out, confusing folks.
Damn globe!
This is the reason I'm a proud member of the Flat Earth Society. Why don't you join it? We have members all around the globe!
all around the circle lol
