Could this be a hint at next year being legion themed?
Dumb question, but I'm having trouble telling from the golden artwork if this is a Warlock class legendary or a neutral legendary. Can anyone clarify?

Idk, I don't see aa 9-mana 5/5 that requires a friendly minion to already be on board to be of much use. Just feels greedy to run this even in a lategame focussed deck.
It's going to be part of the next expansion if the imprint behind the text is correct. We'll get our chance at this in December
well Marin the Fox had the KaC watermark on him, but he doesn't show up in packs.
I am not saying he 100% will not be in packs, but the watermark doesn't mean anything.
I don't think packs have to do with what I'm saying, which is: either he's free to everyone or available through packs to everyone, or worst case (and least likely) he can be crafted if the other options aren't viabl. He won't be some exclusive card in a game that claims everyone has a chance to get every card and has never limited actual gameplay-affecting content to people who payed for a ticket or pre-order.

Yeah, the normal version will be available. Not certain exactly how though.

probably not seeing how we're already getting the 5 Galakronds, but it'll show up in packs I guess
Everyone got Marin regardless of whether or not we purchased the ticket, so there's always hope. A smaller chance, considering we're already getting 5 free legendaries, but it's there.
If not, like you said, he will most certainly be craftable or obtained through packs.
