If the plan becomes "cheat out Behemoth, then revive, revive, revive", I'm gonna lose my shit :/
I think the lure throws a wrench in that diluting the revive pool the more you revive Behemoth, thankfully.
The lure is a part of the behemoth, so I don't think it is considered another Minion in the res pool: It probably will be considered as One. The point Is: what if the secondary part of a colossus dies and the main part is transformed in something else (by evolve, for example)? And what if a colossus would pop out of a summoning or a transformation but there are not enough free spaces on the board?
Would make the most sense for the appendages to be their own minions that are summonable. A colossal that is summoned on a full board would also probably not summon the appendages that go with it. Its possible they made new tech for these cards but i doubt they would do those things.
I guess we will have to see, Dean said in the latest AMA that Colossus cards are considered a new card type, so there could be a new interaction. But until we can test it out, i am convinced that the tokens are just that, token minions and will have all the interaction that we already know.
True...but you can't underestimate the evilness of Priest players lol
Oh no! That cute lil orca is about to be chomped!!
Buffing the lure, maybe with Bless, seems strong. Probably for the best that Priest does not have access to tools that give stealth.
Now I need an Orca card, and make it survive!
Edit: Oh wait, I've just saw Flipper Friends
A couple days ago, I also made a custom Colossal minion whose body part was a lure. The main body had Swamp King Dred's effect and the lure was like Dirty Rat, but triggered at the end of your turn.
But yeah, Blizzard's execution is much better.
Back in my day, heal all friendly characters for 6 costed 2, and heal yourself for 12 costed 4. Good ol’ frozen throne times…
Jokes aside, the card is really slow and doesn’t seem to synergize with anything. Yet. Maybe new cards and core set rotation will bring something, but currently I’m not sold.
With an old keyword coming back, I wonder if it wouldn't be recruit... That would be a great combination with the collosal keyword. Although flavor wise I don't really feel it's fitting too much (recruiting a big monster feels a bit ... weird)
But, but, but...the art is...backwards!
I like this card as an idea, pure control, but I can't see how the "colossal" minions are supposed to be balanced, I mean they're clearly overstated and what scares me the most is that this is only the first expansion of the year and they're already setting the power level too high
I was thinking about this. I came to a conclusion, that for a very expensive card it is OK to be powerful if all these cards are equally powerful.
Stats does not equal strength. The current standard meta has Carnival Clown. So far, the cost has been the biggest drawback of these minions. Drawing these on turn 1 is terrible.
It is a win-con against aggro. I will give it that much. Otherwise, it is just a Ragnaros that kills itself.
If you survive to turn 8 against agro, the opponent is doing something really bad.

The flavor in this expansion is so awesome. I'm baffled...
This is going to be fun again
