I didn't see the video, so ignore this if it is already answered.
The card says "devour." Is that like "poof" or just "destroy?"
In Standard it's a worse Abominable Lieutenant because it's pretty bad if you got nothing big to remove whereas Lieutenant remains a persistent threat.
In Arena this is probably insane though. Get it infused and you basically turn every board in your favor.
Too slow for standard
My guy have you played in the last two weeks? Renathal makes half the games 15 minutes long and go to fatigue
Devs need to print an actual "Fluffy something".
Hope that art is not final as well, coz you can't even see what's going on...
Definitely not final. We should have better quality art too once the official translations get published by Blizzard.
So it's like a reversed Void Terror, looks interesting… but not great.
Despite its power its only ever going to terrorize arena. In standard, this card is simply too slow to do anything useful; even in classes like druid it may be too inconsistent compared to cards like Raid Boss Onyxia or even neptulon.
I wouldn't even rate it pass something like Abominable Lieutenant, which though weaker, can at least snowball and cannot be suitably dealt with by debuffs or freezes.
Great card art though. I'll give it that if nothing else.
Yeah, in Arena this will be probably a better North Sea Kraken, which is nuts, and if you can Infuse it then GGs :) Then again, Kraken could go face and be dropped on an empty board as a threat, so he might win out in versatility in that regard. Both still good Arena cards.
This feels like a great card for the Stormrage brothers
Powercreep on Blade of C'Thun
Given Blade of C'Thun is only a relevant point of comparison in rogue C'Thun decks, where the revealed card isn't going to fill its niche any better than the many stronger hard removal cards rogue already has, I'm not sure where the power creep is here.
Yes it was a joke
