I hate innerfire Priest.
I've been burned by Board Priest attempts far too many times to put stock in this anymore. High Priest Amet couldn't do it, Stormpike Aid Station couldn't do it, this can't do it either. Sure, you can make it a straight up combo kill but the dream of a board-centric Priest is just never becoming a reality.
I'm pretty sure this card itself is broken, but as it is a one-of and not easy to tutor, the deck could suffer from low consistency. On the other hand, Wig Priest is not terrible right now, so adding one more high-roll to it might just make it good enough.
Other bad archetypes like Pirates and Freeze Shaman eventually became playable because new and much more powerful cards.
They just had to support innerfire priest -.-
Only priest deck even worse to play against is big/ress priest
Why cant they support anything else for priest thats not innerfire (leave a minion a up ocne and wlep you die from nothing) or ressurcition stuff
Priest, the only class that still suffers in identity.
Why is it always like this, creating the card ability to mess with Attack and Health, and soon after get nerf, and back to mess with Attack and Health again. I mean, we already have tasted the Inner Fire disgusting combo, and then Switcheroo, which end up getting banned.
All I can say is thank fuck Drek'Thar was nerfed.
Basically its a card that grants Inner Fire for every buff, because in general most good minion's health are larger than their attack.
The most obvious inclusion would be in naga priest, but at some point it would probably also enable another form of combo priest with Shadow Word: Devour. But the card has more applications than that, because any spell will trigger it, so you can theoretically make a big minion with something like Flash Heal
Certainly a very strong card, and impossible to ignore on board.

So the obvious card to pair with this is Serpent Wig. This isn't a naga, but it boosts every use of Serpent Wig to a +2/+2 at minimum - its first use on a minion will likely do much more. Pelagos immediately becomes an 8/8 for 4-mana. In the late game, you can power up Blademaster Samuro to clear almost any board.
Maybe combo it with Shadow Word: Devour to make a giant taunt?
