I mean, I'm happy DH is being given something new to do, given how limited the class has been so far (especially in Wild). I just wish it was something that has a future. I very much doubt they're gonna be printing relics after this, this feels more like a Jade situation. And in that case, this whole package is going to live and die with this expansion, and DH is gonna be back to square one.
What does the empowering do?
Summon 4 1/1 spirits or summon 2 2/2?
I've learned yesterday that only change the numbers, no the text, so deal 2 damage, reduce 2, sumon two 2/2...
Latter, two 2/2s. The literal numbers in the card texts get bigger, everything else stays the same.
Lore noob here. What's an Artificer? Is it a species or a job?
Job. Artificer - a skilled or artistic worker or craftsman

In WoW, this artificer is a thief. This species is used as a broker or thief of valuable things
Fairly insane when infused, decent even uninfused. Since the relics improve after each play, there's every reason to believe this will either kill something, develop a board, or draw a bunch of cards, and that along with an 8/8 to boot. And if you infused this then you get all three which will easy turn the tide. There's just no way this card doesn't see play.
Unless all the other classes up their game, its likely we'll be seeing plenty of dhunters on launch, and it wouldn't surprise me if this deck stays tier 1-2 throughout the next expansion.
I'm much less enthusiastic about the Relics package, because the floor is very low -- you're basically paying 1 extra mana over what you would expect for the base effect to slightly improve further cards. And with only 7 cards that care about Relics in your deck, the ceiling is also fairly limited; realistically, you'll cast your seventh Relic on turn 9 or 10, and at that point, summoning two 10/10 or dealing 10 damage to two minions is not very impressive.
Edit: I forgot that the demon hunter Location doubles the effect of Relics played that turn. That makes 9 cards in the Relics package, which improves its effectiveness slightly, but still feels underwhelming to me.
In what order are the relics played in the infused version?
If I heard Feno correctly, the order is random.
Oh, aight then. Not that it matters too much since it's still a really powerful payoff for the relic deck.
Does it matter? The three leaked so far aren't exactly countering one another.
It does matter as they are empowering each other... So would be good to know if you get bigger dudes or more damage to enemies or higher discount
Good point, but do they actually improve after one another or is it all casted at the same time?
I think its a safe bet that its entirely random.
On another point, Im sure the relics dont improve ad infinitum or otherwise relic of dimensions actually get worse in the late game. Does anyone know if there's an end point to the improvements?
Relic of Dimensions shouldn’t get worse unless you reach fatigue. I think you’re assuming that it draws more and more cards, but it will never draw more than two. It’s the cost reduction that improves over time.
I normally hate DH but this could be my way in to get to 500 wins. 400 to go but will take all the help i can get.
