One of the first things we saw when Death Knight was first revealed, was (predictably), the Ghoul Charge Hero Power. It summons a 1/1 Ghoul with Charge that dies at the end of the turn.
But we didn't know what the upgraded Hero Power was, and there were a few possible interpretations as to what it could've been. Celestalon has confirmed on Twitter and it summons a 2/1 Ghoul instead of a 1/1 Ghoul. The choice of a single 2/1 Ghoul as opposed to two 1/1 Ghouls is likely to prevent the counter of Corpses from scaling too quickly that could otherwise happen with an extra Ghoul.
Quote From Celestalon 2/1 instead of 1/1!
Currently in the game, we only have 3 cards that let us do this: Justicar Trueheart, Baku the Mooneater, and Sir Finley of the Sands. This means that for the time being, this upgraded Hero Power will only be accessible in Wild, but we're sure to see some more cards with this ability at some point in the game's lifespan.

I mean, since you already included Finley, I may as way be a pedant and say that Pave the Way also upgrades your hero power as the second step reward for Paladin Questline, making it 4 cards that upgrade your hero power
Nevermind the stats, I still think the Charge buff is too great for a 2 mana HP, considering you can use HP then buff the minion for a quick face damage.
Of course, with Renathal still here, and we don't know how aggresive DK hero can be, perhaps I'm judging too fast (or too far).
But hey, I quitted this game since Castle Nathria because of how I can't possibly stay competitive with F2P with how many cards they printed each expansion now and in the future, so just let me check up how this gonna turn up. (Probably get nerf to Rush.. Probably)
We don't know how much of a buffer Death Knight will be though. The only buff cards we're currently aware of in Death Knight are Skeletal Sidekick and Anti-Magic Shell.
However, you don't really want to buff something that is guaranteed to die at the end of the turn. As I see it, Death Knight's Hero Power is just a Fireblast with a few extra steps in order to enable Corpse synergies.
Ah man, I was hoping it would've summoned two ghouls for the extra corpses. Less appealing to play Odd Death Knight now.
Personally, I am more interested in Even DK: Defrost costs 2 mana, just like Battlefield Necromancer, and Lord Marrowgar costs 8.
Me too, just waiting to see if it’s gonna be a three Unholy tune deck for me or a splash of something else (frost most likely.)
A splash does mean no Marrowgar though…
Yeah: Marrowgar is sick, but the deckbuilding restriction of 3 Unholy Runes is kinda harsh - in order to build your deck that way, you'll need very valid reasons.
To be fair, as things are right now I am hesitant on Marrowgar: there are many strong cards like the aforementioned Defrost or Patchwerk that require a single Rune that's not Unholy, therefore cutting off Marrowgar from the deck.
