Below we've got a list of what is changing, so you can take your own guesses as to what the actual changes are. Looking for Standard changes? We've got those too!
Upcoming Battlegrounds Buffs
Upcoming Battlegrounds Nerfs
- Soulsplitter
- Magmaloc
- Felstomper
- Sister Deathwhisper
- Eternal Knight
- Sinrunner Blanchy
- Ghoul of the Feast
- Cyborg Drake
Upcoming Battlegrounds... Reworks?
These two minions haven't been stated as being buffed or nerfed, which leads us to believe changes are coming that either overhaul them entirely or are somewhat neutral.
Is anything not receiving a change that you think so? Do you want to make some predictions for the changes? We'd love to hear what you think in the comments below.

Without quests there is once again a massive disparity in the strength of heroes. I would rather they do something about hero balance.
They're buffing 3 pirates and they're still gonna be garbage. They seriously need to rework the tribe. When the new scaling options were introduced for most other tribes (Dazzling Lighstpawn etc.), all Pirates got was Peggy, which, like all other Pirates, completely sucks until you have Hoggar. You essentially can't start playing Pirates until you have Hoggar, ideallly two, and then you still need to find actual scaling. No other tribe is this fucked. Then they took away the one way to get a golden Hogger somewhat early (Tony Two-Tusk), or rather, essentially moved him to tier 6 (the new Pirate Naga) and they killed Khadgar for Pirate scam. Essentially, Pirates, one of the worst tribes if not the worst tribe in the game lost one of its builds and had the other one made harder to put together. Pirates still have no abilities (Windfury, Divine Shield, cleave, meaningful Deathrattles) and if they buff Toxfin again (I mean just why at this point??) there's no reason to play Pirates over Murlocs who can scale essentially from tier 1.
I think a major overhaul of the tribes is in order once again.
Quillboars need Gemsplitter back. This card was so much better than Bristlemane Scrapsmith. They deleted good build and one of the reasons to play George with it.
I like Scrapsmith. The big thing there is that Scrapsmith can go in many more builds. There are only two Quillboar who naturally can get shields, so Gemsplitter could very easily be underwhelming unless the lobby included the right other tribes. Scrapsmith is more universal because you can give any ol' minion Taunt.
I really don't know what else they do with Toxfin. If you keep it at 6 to meet the design goal of "making it so we don't have to assume a board full of poison when murlocs are in the pool", murlocs are in danger in the midgame. Push it to 5 and it's too easy to get.
I am looking forward to the nerfs to Undead's endgame. The sheer amount of stats generated by Soulsplitter + Summoner + Deathwhisper is astounding-- enough to just overpower pretty much any other endgame strat. I know the Sin'dorei Straightshot is supposed to be the tech, but once the undead player has taunt on three targets, it's game over, because no one can afford to run two Straightshots without fatally compromising their own board.
Vanessa needs help. Pirates in general need something else they can do than "hope to get Hogger".
Looks like a good list to me!
Toxfin comin' back down in Tier to wreak havoc once again lol D:
Without scaling Pufferquil doesn't do much even when supported. It gets popped by the Divine Shield minion its set against and/or ends up overhwlemed by recursion, poison or no. It probably needs a Heatlh boost when it gets spellcrafted or blood gem'd.
