Xbox Game Pass Adds 5 New Games to the Service, 4 Others Are Leaving

Good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers! The service is adding 4 new games (technically 6, since Shadowrun Trilogy is… a trilogy) and FIFA 22 to the service. Some are available right now, others will arrive in the coming days. There’s also 2 more games in this article that were released earlier, but are absolutely worth a mention. Let’s take a deeper look at each of them!

Microsoft is also running a special promotion where Game Pass Ultimate is offered to new subscribers for 3 Months in exchange for only 1 USD (or regional equivalent) until the 30th of June. Don’t worry if you miss it, though, this promotion pops up fairly regularly.

Shadowrun Trilogy

A collection of 3 tactical RPGs set in the world of Shadowrun, a setting where fantasy and technology blend seamlessly to offer a unique experience. This includes Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong, all in their Deluxe/Director’s Cut versions.

The game is available right now on Consoles and for the Cloud version of Game Pass. Sadly, if you’re on PC, you’ll have to go on Steam, Epic, or GOG. Fortunately, the game is 75% off right now on GOG.

Naraka: Bladepoint

A 60-player Battle Royale game that trades guns for lightning-fast action with swords, parkour, and grappling hooks.

Available on June 23rd on Console, PC and Cloud. It comes with an exclusive outfit and Xbox-themed headwear.

Far Cry 5

The fif-uh… 9th? Yeah, 9th game in the Far Cry franchise, not counting some remakes. This game puts you in the shoes of a junior deputy sheriff in Hope County, Montana, USA. It revolves around your effort to stop the cult of Eden’s Gate and its leader, Joseph Seed.

Available on July 1st on Console, PC and Cloud.

FIFA 22

It’s FIFA.

Available on June 23rd on Console and PC.

Omori

RPG in the vein of Earthbound. Explore a strange world full of colorful friends and foes. Prepare yourself for a punch in the gut.

Available now on Console, PC and Cloud.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

Pixel-art beat-em-up involving the titular characters. Inspired by classic Turtles beat-em-ups, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time, but with modern sensibilities and art-style. Up to six people can play as any of the 4 turtles, Master Splinter, April, or Casey.

Available now on Console, PC and Cloud.

Total War: Three Kingdoms

The 12th mainline (and 13th overall) entry in the turn-based strategy real-time tactics franchise. The plot centers around the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history (about 20 years afterwards), with the player able to control one of 12 factions, with the purpose of eliminating the others.

The game is available now on PC.

Games Leaving

Unfortunately, some games will be leaving the subscription soon. The 4 games that are leaving are:

  • FIFA 20
  • Jurassic World Evolution
  • Last Stop
  • MotoGP 20

Aside from Last Stop, a 3rd person adventure game published by Annapurna Interactive, all these games have their sequels on Game Pass.
