Heal paladin had the problem of not being able to damage yourself. I think heal token may have the same problem if facing a control deck
I think Dreamway Guardians can definitely stand on its own but I'm not so sure about the other card. I don't really see heal druid as a very good deck. The extra card generation is nice but with what we have so far, there's not enough cards to support for you to play Lifeweaver seriously. We'll just have to wait and see what else comes out with the new expansion.
Dreamway Guardians reminds me of Fire Fly. pay 2 mana for two 1/2's. except this does not work as a turn one play, but they have lifesteal. I could definitely see this being played in token druid. one card for two minions is good board advantage.
I dont think Lifeweaver will be very good. you cant consistently take that much damage, then restore that much health in small enough waves that you get good value out of this card. this will not be like Lyra the Sunshard because you can't use the cards you get from Lifeweaver to get more cards, unless you are very lucky.
in the end, I think heal druid will be bad. heal decks in general are just not good enough.
is it possible a token druid?
Maybe all the healing can enable Gonk decks because that much going face is tolling. In addition the extra druid spell or two can seal the game with some direct damage.
Druid is losing so much but at the same time is heading in a new direction and it will refresh their style.
I guess the devs are serious about this whole heal druid thing. I think a balance of both armor and healing cards would be good for class identity but removing all armor giving cards would be frustrating.
This is taking an interesting direction. Maybe gonk might become a thin, (buffed?) lifesteal minions would be good for that archetype.
Dryads can work on their own.
As for a Restoration archetype about generating class cards, it needs a further synergy. Handsize alone is not enough to carry the archetype.
Not entirely sure how to judge this emerging archetype but i will certainly try it.
NOt entirely sure about this whole healing thing.
At the very least the seem to get that it doesn't work as a tempo deck, so I guess value is the next attempt.
Should be noted that Lifeweaver doesn't specificallly require the heal to be on your hero, so that's a bonus in any case.
Still doesn't really qualify as a win condition. I guess the remaining Druid Legendary will tie this all together
Maybe all this heal synergy is supposed to be played together with the attack druid support that we got last set? If heal druid is becoming a deck I'm fairly certain that the 0 mana gain 2 attack will be in there
A good point. If Druid generates less armor (without Branching Paths) and has less broken archetype options, thus making hitting stuff with face more appealing, then the healing will come in handy.
Wow! A rare that has this much of a special effect?
Finally after some boring combo druids, well get to see a new archetype.
Also a new "waifu" contender.
