The second Masters Tour event this year takes place this weekend, in the middle of new expansion hype. Over 300 players from all regions will compete for their share of the glory and the prize money (increased by the Dragon Masters esports bundle). The tournament was planned to take place at Los Angeles, but for the first time a Masters tour event will be held entirely online due to the ongoing coronavirus issues. Who will rise to the occasion, take home the trophy, and get a tight grip on a place at Hearthstone Grandmasters? Tune in to find out!
I have to say though, since this was initially supposed to be Masters Tour Indonesia before all the coronavirus issues, wouldn't it have been nice to revert the move? APAC players were supposed to have the "home advantage" and now they're the ones that will have to play at some horrendous hours even though it's an online event.
Tournament Format
- All games are played as Best-of-5 Conquest.
- 4 decks with 1 ban.
- A total of 9 Swiss rounds, with Top 8 advancing.
- Day 1: 5 rounds of Swiss, players with 3 or more wins advancing to day 2.
- Day 2: The remaining 4 rounds of Swiss.
- Day 3: Top 8 single elimination bracket.
Notable Players
Since all Grandmasters have been invited, there are plenty of well-known players in this tournament as well. Moving the tournament online might also increase the number of players who actually show up. The full list of invited players can be found here.

Here's the link to brackets for those interested.
Noooo, I was so excited to watch this weekend ;( why casters just don´t stream from their homes like they did many times before? Sad sad panda :(
Sunday's games are still on and the Top 8 looks pretty strong. There should be some good games for you to watch.
Thanks Frosty, wow the Top 8 really looks great. I hope they somehow manage to showcase the matches today 🙏
Seems like they managed to do it. Stream is up and proper action begins in 15 mins.

They will only be streaming top 8, right?
I agree with this.
Yes, they tweeted couple of hours ago that the stream is cancelled and they're looking for a way to showcase the Top 8 matches on Sunday. I'll edit the post to reflect that shortly.
