Libram Quest Exodia 2.0
- OTK Paladin
- Wild
- Ranked
An update of the deck I posted at the start of AoO to account for the new librams buff.
The fact that Aldor Attendant now has 1 atk makes her drawable with Crystology. And since we only need the librams to cost 2 mana less, it's perfect and makes the deck lighter than with Aldor Truthseeker. This version also has more draw overall thanks to Hand of A'dal, which also brings a stronger early game (like in standard).
While Stonehill Defender had been cut in and out in the versions I played since the last deck, they are now back because they are a good card to draw with Crystology, but can be switched with Novice Engineer if you feel like there is not enough draw.
Gadgetzan Auctioneer also did some back and forth, and I finally settled with one copy. But I think it's a flex slot, fell free to insert whatever you like the most (SN1P-SN4P is good synergy but I don't know what to cut).

Love this type of deck and this version is very interesting. I don't have Sunkeeper Tarim and I don't really like the Gadgetzan Auctioneer as I never seem to get a decent chance to play it whilst having spells to make it worth while. I put Bloodmage Thalnos and a Flash of Light in there for more draw and it's working well. It's amazing how many times you get a Sunkeeper Tarim from the Stonehill Defender anyway! Thanks for the deck.
This is a VERY interesting twist to the archetype. Kudos! By relying on the coins and a 0-mana libram, you don't need Thaurissan. On the other hand you still depend on drawing the extra coins from adventurers and casting both attendants for the 0-libram... Might be too slow against Quest Mage and Mechathun Lock kills you consistently at 8 so.. There's that.
My version might be a little faster but I'll have to test yours to see. I use Call to Arms to thin the deck, bringing loot hoarders, doomsayers, Thalnos, Pyro, Kangor, lots of AoEs for the creature-heavy decks, bananas and a Humiliation for the 1-mana spells and Thaurissan to reduce them to 0. Also a Shirvallah as the nail in the coffin against aggro. In a lucky day I complete the combo at 10. It's really fun but doesn't use any new cards (decklist in my profile)
Queued into this deck only once and it was exactly while I was testing a Shirvallah OTK deck featuring librams and aldor attendants. It was a close match and we both drew very well but I won a turn before they completed the combo. I was very impressed by the creative use of the quest!
It's nice to see Exodia coming back! I loved that deck. Used it to get my last 100 wins for my golden Paladin!
