Big Taunts In Formation Warrior

So, what happens when you mix Taunt Warrior and Big Warrior together? You get a massive minion stall deck that works remarkably well!

With the control tools from Big Warrior alongside swapping out the normal threats for some of the bigger taunts available (Scrapyard Colossus, Tomb Warden, Armagedillo, and even Scrap Golem), you can often buy enough time to start building a wall your opponent will not be able to break through. In Formation! is very much a meme card, but if you can play it before dropping/summoning Armagedillo, the value is often enough to overwhelm opponents. The only sad draw from Commencement or Dimensional Ripper is Tomb Warden, but it remains in the deck because the upside with Armagedillo outweighed the downside of summoning it from those cards.

Soul Demon Hunters were chewed apart by this, and it performs well against most decks other than Priest or a patient Paladin player. To finish out the game, you will need to stick one of the minions eventually, or let fatigue melt your opponent (we won a number of games with fatigue). So, expect the games to go long... But, it is fun to get Taunt Warrior and Armagedillo to actually work!

If you'd like to see the deck in action, we've got a couple highlight videos coming out soon which we'll link here showing it crushing the souls of Demon Hunters and a Highlander Warrior. The first is at https://youtu.be/xJszv4GF1HY, and the second is at https://youtu.be/RFeWDQrbCi4. Have fun experimenting, and have an awesome day!
