The production is visually incredibly appealing, the actors are impeccable in their expression and the music is very lively. Now that we're in the starting blocks of the fourth season, it's been a while since we left the book original behind us. "The Handmaids Tale" is a terrifying drama series about the misogynistic extremism and the struggle for life, freedom and equal value.

The series has an unusually direct appeal, and it addresses inconvenient topics such as ritual rapes and other abuses without pardon. The first episode of the fourth season picks up where the previous one left off. The red-clad maids take the injured June to a farm where they have been promised refuge by Mrs. Keyes, a 14-year-old girl who is married off to a semi-senile landlord.
