ShudderMill Shaman
- Shudderwock Shaman
- Wild
- Ranked
Shudderwock shaman that aims to win by aggressively milling the opponent into fatigue.
Corrupt the Waters is a strong enabler for such a battlecry-reliant archetype, which removes the need to run and draw Murmuring Elemental or Brann Bronzebeard in order to achieve explosive mid and lategame turns. The lackey generators help to complete the quest as soon as possible, while Weaponized Wasp helps you fight for board or gives some extra reach at the end of the game.
Ice Fishing tutors Coldlight Oracle for you, which is a major perk Shaman has over other classes for mill strategies.
Since you want to be able to empty your hand faster than your opponent, and survive until fatigue, this deck requires a good amount of cheap defensive cards. In this role are Sandstorm Elemental, Devolve, Glacial Shard, Doomsayer, and Healing Rain.
Antique Healbot is neccesary to ensure Shudderwock can heal you sufficiently, and unlike spells it also has strong synergy with the quest.
Loatheb is neccesary to enable you to have a chance against spell-heavy decks, and when doubled locks them out of using spells completely.
Emperor Thaurissan massively assists your ability to empty your hand for coldlight plays, as well as enable you to double more battlecries in a single turn. It can potentially even allow you to double Shudderwock's battlecry, but be very careful when doing this, as it can easily turn guarenteed wins into possible ties.
Skulking Geist is mostly here for Jade Idol, but in general removing opposing 1 mana spells is quite beneficial to reduce the chance of you getting killed by some sort of burst. If they are still in their deck, it even hastens fatigue!
Hagatha's Scheme is a way to eventually clear the board if needed, after stalling the game with the other tools. It's possible that a different board clear like Volcano or Earthquake might be better overall, but the potential mana efficiency of this card is pretty appealing.
Baleful Banker and Zola the Gorgon are there to give you additional copies of whatever you need in the given game. Bankers are neccesary to help you win the fatigue, while Zola can set up consecutive uses of the same battlecry. Zola can be substituted for a return to hand effect like Youthful Brewmaster, but being able to keep the minion you want to re-use on board is often quite useful, and additionally Zola's effect can be doubled (though sometimes this may actually be a downside if your hand is too full). Keep in mind that Shudderwock needs an appropriate balance between shuffles and healling on one hand, and coldlights on the other, in order to give you a win rather than a tie or a loss.
