Digging Deep

Okay so, this is just a mess of a pile of cards however, I just hit Diamond 5 running it (was in diamon pre patch). Never been that high in rank over my 10 years playing this. So figured I'd post it. Still a work in progress but I love Evolve/Excavate Shaman. This deck is just stupid fun to play and really shouldn't win but somehow it does.

Basic idea: Run as many minions as you can for to maximizeThe Azerite Murloc, low cost to mid costs. Discover and tradeable minions work best so you can get removal and cycle to the Excavate stuff.

Using Card Grader, Dryscale Deputy, Photographer Fizzle for extra copies of excavates. Then slam The Azerite Murloc hopefully with a board for some fun! Muck Pools is nice to have open on the Murloc turn just incase you roll something aweful (looking at you Bonelord Frostwhisper from last season!). Use cards that discover other minions before you drop the Murloc if you can for extra gas later. 

The only real Needed Legendary is Sir Finley, the Intrepid. This guy saves you so much agains those handbuff decks and big dudes. So fun to turn a big board into tiny murlocs!

I made this deck last season and it struggled but was still fun. Kept it around for this Standard and it's winning more than my others more "serious" decks. I'm not a good player by any means but this deck is climbing. I'm just as confused as you all are reading this! Anyway if you want something dumb to play or just love evolve this is a fun time. Just dump a pile of cards and confuse your opponent when they suddenly become big!

I'll keep poking at it and try to update next season but D5 isn't bad for this month. May your evolves be useful.
