Cool Effect! Doesn't seem very good for this particular class though (thankfully). This is countered by Leper Gnomes and Boombots in the late game ironically.
Thanks. I love it.
We asked for Big Demon Hunter, and they delivered. This is huge, it gets even bigger, it kills tokens and reduces face damage each turn, and it's a demon, so you can cheat it out and discover it. Imagine summoning two in the same go - that's 20-20+ in stats and a free Consecration at the end of each turn. That's an effect you build decks around. That's an effect that makes Fel Summoner worth your while.
If a minion's health is reduced to 0, I do assume it dies? This'd be a bit broken otherwise.
Better call Thrall!
Well, that is quite a large feller. I still don't see Big Demon DH being a thing with this card, even if it is strong and can be cheated on turn 7 there just isn't the support to let control DH outclass faster DH decklists. Control decks will have ways of getting of even the largest DH bois, leaving the deck with nothing left. At most I think big demon DH could be a T3 deck, but I'm not seeing it with the current tools.
I guess this is intended to be cheated out, this can be kinda finisher in slow DH deck. But i compare this like a faster Gruul but since it doesnt impact the board that much (maybe killing 1 hp minions) so its hard to imagine this see play.
Big DH support!
Interesting card but very slow. This is a 17/17 against a full board with the added benefit of destroying all enemy tokens. The effect is also persistent not a battlecry and needs to be removed immediately (unless opponent has lethal). Insane if drawn by Pit Commander, or cheated out by Raging Felscreamer or Fel Summoner.
Most insane if spawned by Warlock Gala by turn 7.
Um, what? Steal?! As in reduce enemy stats and increase my own? I would call it OP, except that would encourage a nerf and I really want to try this out, lol.

You know, as much as I absolutely love this card’s art (seriously, this is probably my favorite in a long time) and the effect, I don’t think it’s actually that good. It being summoned by Pit Commander nullifies the effect for a turn, so it’s not too great there, and the point where killing a bunch of low health minions matters is way before this card would ever come out
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
This is a Big Minion that control Demon Hunter was needing for their toolkit.
Not only does it have impressive stats for cost (the legendary dragons save Deathwing are 9 mana 8/8 in stats roughly) but it's AOE effect can sap a significant amount of health and damage from your enemy's board with no way to prevent it.
Once this minion does land on your side of the field, your opponent will be forced to remove it or finish the match on that turn, less your Ancient Void Terror become too big to remove.
That said, this minion doesn't have TAUNT and at turn 9 it's very unlikely that your board will be filled with 1 health minions for this guy to remove. So say your board full of tokens is still around after this minion is played, you can easily play Savage Roar and Bloodlust and go face completely ignoring this minion.
There's also the fact that this minion does not have the Elusive ability, and control matchups will likely have an efficient spell removal for this guy. Mage's have Devolving missiles and polymorph, Shaman also has Devolving missiles and Hex, Warlocks have Siphon Soul and Keli'Dan the Breaker, Priest has Shadow Word: Death, Time Rip, Soul Mirror, Mind Control, Convincing Infiltrator (okay Priest has not worry about this minion, Paladins have Turalyon the Tenured, Equality and Consecration, Warriors have Lord Barov and Whirlwind, or Whirlwind and Execute, Hunters have Deadly Shot, Rogues can bounce it or use Flik Skyshiv to remove it and any copies you might have.
Druids only answer to this minion is in wild with Naturalize, they and other Demon Hunters will be in trouble against this minion.
This minion is an absolute slam pick in Arena. it's Big that just becomes BIGGER. it's perfect
The weird thing about Ancient Void Hound is that the more the minion benefits off its effect, the more likely the DH playing it going to lose the game. Ancient Void Hound doesn't do anything to protect the DH the turn they play it, and if their opponent has a wide board the opponent can just usually end the game even if they lose attack on their board. Against slower decks with less minions, the effect does very little and the DH spends their entire turn developing it for it to be removed most of the time by their opponent, giving the opponent initiative. I just don't see an effective use for Ancient Void Hound anyway I slice it, despite how crazy the stats and effect appear to be.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Pretty interesting design, and I love that it's another big demon you can throw in a Big DH deck (which I've been trying to make work). That archetype still needs other support to work though, and I doubt this new demon will see play without some bonkers way to cheat it out. I don't think Raging Felscreamer, Fel Summoner, or Pit Commander are enough.
Super cool card but it’s a 9 mana do little. Freaking love it all the same and look forward to the day it can be realistically cheated out. Evolve needed another good 9 drop too

Glad to see support for big demon DH, although I don't think this is the kind of the demons the deck needs.
You beat me to it, so I'll simply agree and nod.
Love the artwork too!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Looks really obnoxious to me. Yes, it’s really slow but could snowball and actually weakens the opponent’s board. Interesting design but too much stats imo.
Big demon hunter is probably the one dh archetype, that I will always consider playing and building a deck for and I will most definitely include this one.
I like the artwork as well. Not that Scholomance-wackyness.

Remember that one DH card that costs 6 and summons a demon from hand, that everyone sad was way too slow to see play?
Well....guess what we're gonna see a lot more of
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Watch out if big demon demon hunter becomes good, but otherwise demon hunters have no need for 9-mana cards. (Other than Baku)
This post is discussing the wild format.
Interesting Card - defenitely like the Big Demon Hunter Archetype. And because there are some cards that can cheat out minions (like the demon hunter card that summons a demon from hand - i think it was 5 or 6 mana) like this, i think Big Demon Hunter will be a thing - and therefor this card will see play.
The Ability is also very nice.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Quite slow honestly the effect is strong but it costs wzy too much.. Need to be cheated out to see play which dh can do.. So maybe it could work.

It also fits into DH's disruptive theme. They also have some end of turn effects, so this is - while strange- not very surprising.
Insane with Pit Commander and Fel Summoner. This will certainly be used in big/control DH.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Yes, its a big boy, and yes it does quite a lot of stuff. But ultimately, its still a 9 cost card that doesn't really do much when it enters.
I like the card. But unless something is done about Thoughtsteal all I can think of is facing down this and losing because of an rng effect. I'd rather discover this than put it in my deck.
I've tried a bit of Big Demon Hunter, and I was generally disappointed with how easy it was to run out of good demons in your deck for Pit Commander (or worse, draw into all of them). So, I think it's great they're adding more for that archetype. Still, while it's possible Raging Felscreamer, Fel Summoner, and Pit Commander are a good enough "cheat" package that this becomes playable, but at 9 mana that's still a bit tough. It's definitely powerful enough that I'll be happy to see it coming off of Netherwalker, though.
It's very expensive, yes, but its stats are off the chart for 9-mana. Even on an empty board, 10/10 for 9 is good. With a single enemy minion in play, it becomes an 11/11 (and reduces that enemy minion). Against a full board it becomes 17/17. I'm very interested to see if Big Demons works.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Huge minion that keeps growing, but only that - a big minion easily hard-removed. Will be interesting to see this in action.
Yet another card that looks like a fan creation come to life.
This card is pretty slow, most of the time I don't think you would play this on turn 9, but if you can cheat it out it is insane. If Big Demons Demon Hunter doesn't work out, this card won't see play, but if that deck does work out, this is just too many stats to ignore.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
You wouldn't want to hard-cast it (unless your opponent happens to have a board full of 1-Health minions). It does seem really good for Big Demon DH, even if Pit Commander does cause it to lose its effect for a turn.
Other than that though, it's just a giant stat-stick, which might be the downfall of the card. Still though, it's a really cool card with some nice artwork.
Wow this is going to suck if this card finds a T1 deck
Cards like this make me excited to see what they'll do with Big DH.
But it still needs a bit more Support, altough it has an immediate Impact on the Board.

I feel like steal should become a keyword in following expansions and there should be cards that synergize with steal effects.
For the minion itself, I want to try my chance with Drakkari Enchanter. It would be like growing Baron Geddon for only minions.
Edit: Oh boy, I can already seeing that King Phaoris summons this.
Great card for the 10 mana pool for cards like Conjurer's Calling.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
I can already hear Gul'dan crying over how Illidan stole this guy from him. Archwitch Willow would love to pull two of these out. Oh well, I guess Fel Summoner is a close second for this kind of deck.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Cool artwork...but this card is unplayable right now. If in the future Big Demon Hunter will be a thing, this card are going to find a spot
Big clunky 9 drop that is dependent on other cards to make it playable, don't really see it doing much aside from just being able to occasionally dunk someone in the ground with the god draw in Big Demon DH. You better hope its magical Christmas land whenever your playing this deck because otherwise I don't see this card working out.
Cardboard wizard and dog haver.
I love everything about it!
Just commented the same thing on fellosophy but...
One of the best cards in the set...
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Imagine getting this off of Bane of Doom and the Warlock Galakrond.....
I like the idea of this card, I just hate to see it in Demon Hunter's set.
A possible 17/17 Hound that can be taken out in a moment. Better have enemy secrets and removal cards exhausted before playing.
I mean it's going to be run in big demon hunter but the only time it's going to feel good to play this is if you pull this from fel summoner or pit commander. Outside of big demon hunter is not going to even see the light of the day.
Decent, but Demon Hunter doesn't play decent cards.
Costs too much for my liking, it has alot of impact if there are many minions on the opponents side and if it can stick to on the board but if the opponent has many minions on his side then you will probably die before this can help you
All hail the banshee queen.
A Really powerful card for Big Demon Hunter decks. Perfect.
Interesting design and effect, but it might be a tad too slow.
Cool card, would maybe be played in warlock with Archwitch Willow but for now it's just too expensive and slow for any type of DH list, even with Pit Commander.
Definitely a nice addition to Big Demon Hunter, and a very interesting effect overall. I wonder why they went with very premium baseline stats considering the self-buffing effect, but I guess this is going to die to hard removal, get ignored, or just win the game on the spot regardless of the stats anyway.
This card feels a lot like Imprisoned Antaen and Priestess of Fury to me: obviously strong and weird that it was printed in its current state. Maybe I'm off, but the fact that this can kill minions by sucking away health, prevent lethal by taking away 7 damage, be cheated out by multiple different cards, AND has great stats for the cost with an upside seems like an obviously overpowered card to me.
The fact that it is 9 mana is holding it back from being busted, but it seems like it is good enough that it's mana cost is irrelevant.
It's a cool effect, but too slow.
Maybe a 1-of in the right deck?
Need to be fished from deck or discounted somehow. Hard casting it is just a meme, even more in such an aggressive class. Still, once slammed will lock the board up, unless hard removed. Bonus points for flavor. Like it a lot.
I like home blizz pushes Big demon DH, but... Needs more support.
By The Holy Light!
I love it. I believe this is very strong... do not forget it not damages but SHRINKS enemy minions.
-=alfi=-
Best case, this becomes a 17/17 at the end of your turn.
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
Great desing and a board disruption. Is by itself a soft taunt. 2 turns alive and you are dead
No idea if this will be good or not, but I really like it! I look forward to the Warlock version of Galakrond summoning four of these in a Trolden clip some day.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Would hate to see one of these off a Galakrond, the Wretched or any random demon generation. It won't be play other than that.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This is a good card although its under rated.
The card can be used with Raging Felscreamer 4m into pit commander 7m to take this minion out of the deck.
This could be a big move for demon hunter but i must say be careful of resorect priest.
If control Demon Hunter becomes a thing, then this will surely have a place in it.
Love the effect. We need to see if Big Demon Hunter or Control Demon Hunter pans out, which I don't think it does.
