slow but unstoppable ...
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Seems meh to me. This can stick for quite a few turns, but what are the odds people wont have Silence, Transform effects, Zephrys the Great & etc. This card will probably just see play in Big/Dimensional Ripper Warrior.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
is the DR injured (it's important) I would guess no..
could be played.. depends on if CW is a thing
Nine mana really hurts this card. I would have loved to be able to DMH + this in one turn, and then n'zoth a full board of them a few turns later.
As with all big dumb stat-sticks, watch out if a "big" deck ever becomes viable, but otherwise this card will do too little, too late.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Doesn’t this kind of break Blizzard’s own rules? If you interpret the card text very strictly it should be a 9/9 that summons an 8/8 dreadsteed, since it never says that the next copy keeps any of its enchantments. S
Wow. Like. wow
-=alfi=-
I wonder how it will work with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, will it keep the reduced stats or will all copies return as 9/9? Problably return as 9/9, but there's only one way to now for sure. Can't wait to try it.

Dear god... I mean, big warrior was never ever any good, but if there's support in this expansion... Then again, they did talk about adding more Silence in the game when Spellbreaker was HoF-ed. Zephrys aka highlander in general will be the main counter if it does end up good.
Very excited about this. Not much Warrior deathrattle synergy that I can think of at the moment, and having such a sticky card looks really fun to play as. Also, it's a legit boss from the WoW dungeon, so that's always bonus points for me.
Official Lorekeeper and Spinner of Tavern Tales
Always been a fan of big minions, always been a fan of deathrattle minions, so I really dig this heckin chonker. My main concern is in how easy several classes can disrupt him. Rogue has cheap ways to return it to the hand and Mage has poly and Reno to remove the effect completely. Hopefully there is some support for him in the set and he isn't a 1-off.
Does it go like 9/9, 8/8, 7/7, 6/6, 5/5 and so til 1/1? If it does, then yeah, it's slow, but insane value. A total of 45/45 in stats, in a single card! Colossus of the Moon can already win games if cheated out early, this is just even better! Seems almost impossible to kill!
Put your faith in the Light!
I think with how the cards are shaping up such as Troublemaker, I think they're taking the chance to delve into Big Warrior again, an archetype that never seems to work. I think that a card like this will be powerful but unless there's a way to cheat this card out, it won't be meta. Definitely a good card in Arena.
Take my words with a grain of salt. I'm unranked and only play casuals lmao.
Way to start the revealing season.
An auto-include in almost every controlly deck. But don't forget to never play it against priest, because if he gets his hands on it - it's a GG for you.
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” ― George Bernard Shaw
EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
If you don't have a way to remove this, it can run away with the game. Not sure how I feel about this. It will either be too slow if the meta is fast, or it will get nerfed.
looks good on paper, but like I said on the first reveal.
So likewise if he doesn't get CC'd he's an unstoppable powerhouse, but if he does get CC'd in anyway its a waste of a turn really. So solid card but gets mauled by a lot of other cards.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I feel like it's just too slow, who knows what else the next set is gonna bring which could change this though. Either way, really sticky minion
Pretty nifty effect I haven't encountered anywhere before. Makes me wonder if 9/9 do-nothing on Turn 9 is worth it though?
Also: has this card's text been misspelled on purpose? Shouldn't it be "resummon"?
Started playing HS in May, 2015. The bad news: I missed the excitement of 'Naxx out?' and GvG. The good news: I never met an Undertaker.
At the very least, this would be the class that could afford to play something big and end the turn. Looks like it should be decent at the least.
For me at least it’s pretty much exactly what I’d want to play, Fatigue Warrior in Wild is mainly just missing the value generation to keep up with other classes, and Boom doesn’t always do the job that well
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Blizzard? Rules regarding card text? Since when?
A puzzle box? What does it say? ... Yogi-Saffron something... sure, let's open it, what is the worst that could happen?
So basically "if you don't have silence and you can't kill me I will win the game from her on out"
9-mana is awfully slow so I wouldn't be too worried, but if there's a grindy Control Warrior deck they can jsut throw this in and force other control decks to have an answer or lose.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
A 9 mana 9/9 that summons an 8/8, and that 8/8 summons a 7/7, and that 7/7 summons a 6/6, and that 6/6 summons a 5/5, and that 5/5 summons a 4/4, and that 4/4 summons a 3/3, and that 3/3 summons a 2/2, and that 2/2 summons a 1/1.
Thing thing is sticky as fuck. Splitting Festeroot is weeping in the corner. Playing it from your hand might be slow, but cheating it out will be brutal to go against.
EDIT: Aw shit, Zephrys screws this over. It'll always offer a Polymorph to kill it, won't it? While it's working correctly at least.
I think the best thing to compare this to is Colossus of the Moon. Basically, it will be bad just about everywhere except for "big" decks. I don't have much hope for Big Warrior, though with the right support cards this could go nuts. Someone also mentioned pairing this with N'Zoth, the Corruptor to get a full board of unstoppable monsters, if you can find an opportunity to play him that is.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Can't wait to see this from Conjuer's Calling and other transform effects!
If you handbuff him he'll survive even longer ;D ...until he gets turned into a Sheep, anyway.
A possible 17/17 at least for board control. Discover some Resummon spells and you have a nightmare.
Silence will be popular again.
The cost of this card is the only thing that holds me back from thinking it will be amazing. What makes me wonder right out the gate about this card is how it will work with someone hitting it with Subdue
Just a fun effect. Probably too slow however. Still things like The Boomship or Dimensional Ripper pulling this would be fun.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
I assume each iteration is a separate minion in the res pool.
Say for example, this was killed 8 times in the board.
So when you drop N'Zoth, it summons a 9/9, 8/8, 7/7, ..., 1/1.
I only see this being relevant in control matches, otherwise it's too slow to play against aggro or combo and won't keep you alive.
Cool card nevertheless.
This will win some games in the way Colossus of the Moon wins some games. It's slow and has no effect on board which means Warrior has better things to do with its mana.
If only there was a way to cheat this out.
By the text description, it almost seem like this card will infinitely resummon itself until its a 0/0 whereupon it just dies on board after that.
If that's true, this is the ultimate end game card that can only be countered with a transform, mind control, or silence.
I love this card.
And also: its entirely too slow so don't actually play it and for the love of C'thun don't craft, and have tissues on-hand for when it gets silenced / polymorphed / hex / devolved / poofed away. But still: gotta love that flavor. Many a meme will be had.
Pretty scary actually! Cool art and concept. But it doesn't affect the board in any way when played so I doubt it will make it's way into meta decks.
And that's why you don't mess with necromancers.
Rattlegore is not a super flashy card, but if you can stick it to the board (that is, if your opponent lacks a silence for it), you're looking at a total of 45/45 in stats over the lifetime of this card. Obviously its too early to tell if this card will have a real Warrior archetype to fit into, but it's good enough that it could fit into a lot of Control Warrior decks as a late game threat.
I'm not going to lie minions that do not die are so FREAKING COOL TO ME.
it's a shame he does nothing when he lands on the board, cuz your opponent can just walk RIGHT around him and go face.
This guy does seem like a fun minion to add in that Karazhan Brawl with that dame who makes minions on one side of her have taunt.
Well, I guess it's time to try recruit warrior again. Not a big fan of 9 mana do nothing, but the rattle is just insane : If you can cheat it out early, it's basically game over. I mean, how do you deal with this without silence or transform effects?
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
Who would win?
A gigantic guy that's insanely sticky and can win games by itself
or
A small genie boi
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Obviously insane if you make it to the late game and don't lose because you spent 9 mana without an immediate impact. Might be added to control warrior as a win condition.
I will kill it ... I will kill it NINE TIMES!
(I hope you enjoyed your Strongbad reference for the day)
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
I feel like this card is similar to Princess Huhuran or Iron Juggernaut in that it is Legendary because the effect hasn't been on a card before, not necessarily because it is super powerful. I predict in a year or two we will see this same effect on a 3 mana 3/3 at rare like with Terrorscale Stalker or Clockwork Goblin.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I dunno "minion that doesn't die" seems like it'd be really difficult to remove and be super annoying if it wasn't legendary.
and if they did it would just be a stronger "reborn"
That's a lot of stats ...
Slow, but Brutal
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
This effect has been confirmed by Blizz.
Source: https://twitter.com/Celestalon/status/1283118328932732930
Too bad they didnt confirm what happens when it dies buffed to say 15/15 or if it gets hit by something like Hunter's Mark or Repentance and dies as 9/1. I think in either case it will just spawn an 8/8, but not a confirmed interaction yet i think.

I think this has been confirmed as well. New iterations don't retain the buffs.
I still think this card will be pretty good - some sort of Big Warrior maybe. Warrior has lots of Removal and Control tools , so he can simply stall the opponent until he drops this one.
The opponent is gonna need constant removal or Sheep/Frog otherwise this guy will stick :)
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I suppose you are right. Tho i could see it spawning a 14/14 base body from a 15/15 buffed version, but i guess they didnt want it to work that way. Im sure that will cause some confusion down the line for unsuspected players, but oh well.
Still probably does not answer what happens when the max Health was changed, tho i would not be surprised if 9/1 spawned an 8/8 lol.

Is this a sticky minion for Control Warior? Big warior doesn't exist right now and 9 mana for "just a 9/9" are a lot (even if this will start a beat down situation).
In any case I don't see a deck for Rattlegore right now.
Warrior can hold on until T9, and it can be the game ending card, albeit the slowness.
I just hope silence doesn't become a big thing...
Oh the memes
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
If this card sees play... The silence rush cards will se too
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Seems like it could be strong in Wild, at least.
Seems slow but against control sometimes it can be a nightmare.
Slow, but strong effect maybe make it be play
A worse gruul, sure if it needs to be killed 9 times for it to be gone but uhhhhh silence coff coff.
All hail the banshee queen.
And then Priest brings out Mind Control.
Don't go outside without Devolving Missiles in your pocket.
The card on its own is pretty slow, but thanks to the big Warrior support, this card might see an uncomfortable amount of play thanks to Commencement.
Not looking forward to playing against this, but hopefully I see it less than I anticipate.
Great in a control matchup, if you can get some buffs on it then it will really get some work done.
Cool design, but too slow to see play. Unless you wanna try the pull from deck thing, good luck with that. On the other hand, somewhere a Priest will copy/steal this, rezz it a hundred times and have a blast. So nice when your Legendary makes other classes happier then you.
Well Control Warrior have near zero chance vs Control Priest anyway. Even this card has Rush Divine Shield Windfury it still useless vs Priest.
But if you play vs Druid , Paladin, Hunter, Warlock, other Warrior, this card is game breaking if you not die the turn you play this, which Warrior players can afford.
So juicy if you pull Rattlegore from Dimensional Ripper, till your opponent plays Zephrys xD
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
9 mana with no impact on the board seems really sketchy. This combined with the fact that there isn't any good ways of cheating it into play and that Zephrys is literally the most played card in every format, I don't have any expectations for this card.
Cardboard wizard and dog haver.
Slow but good for fun :)
Always rank 20/Bronze.
If the opponent can actually kill this minion nine times, shouldn't they just win the game via exodia for the achievement? I will immediately concede if any one does it against my Rattlegore without silences or transforms.
I like that this card has the same essence as the boss in WoW, slowly weakening after time.
Don’t worry, Zephrys will just give a BGH more likely than not
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
This is one I'm gonna have to mess around with - can't wait to see how it handles buffs. My instinct is that you'll just get an 8/8, but who knows, maybe they went wild with it.
Welcome to the site!
It seems that team 5 is disposing slowly of silence effects because they are making some good deathrattles from the Year of the Phoenix and so on
The main issue with Rattlegore is that it does nothing defensive the turn it enters play, unless you summon it off of Commencement which isn't always going to happen. There is also the issue that it is crushed by silence and transform effects, which are somewhat common in standard and we are getting more of in Scholomance with Devolving Missiles. Maybe this makes sense in a Big Warrior deck, but I think that archetype is too slow for standard.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Meta or not, I freaking LOVE this card!
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Is reaaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyyyy sssssssslllllllllllloooooooowwwwwww.
But fits perfectly on big warrior. I will try It for sure!
By The Holy Light!
Strong and sticky minion. Also love the way the effect connects to the character itself.
So my thoughts so far from playing a few games with him pretty much match what I thought when he was first revealed, very slow, but also ridiculously good at controlling the board.
Been running him in my Wild Fatigue Warrior with N’Zoth, and he definitely does carry his own weight. Results are a bit skewed because opponents don’t really know what to do against him though, Razakus ends up using 5 or so cards to be able to kill him a few times, and other opponents keep alternating between trying to kill him, to ignoring him.
Altogether for me, he’s exactly what I felt like I was missing in Warrior, a high impact card that can take advantage of your hero power drawing out games. He’s threatening to opponents up until he’s a 4/4, giving you massive card advantage against them.
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
As pointed by someone, this card really shine where opponent can't dispose of him via silence/transform. So pure Paladin, Druid and Quest Lock, some really popular decks atm, cannot deal with him, granting a sure win if you are not too low on HP or board presence when you drop him. Oh and he works not only in Big Warrior but in Highlander Warrior too.
Ok, we've had a few days to try this guy out, what does everyone think? I'm finding him to be incredibly FUN. He has definitely won me a few games just by being a big stick you can keep hitting with over and over. Pulling 2 copies of him with Dimensional Ripper is just insane. I'm sticking with my initial rating of 4 stars, but I would go up to 5 based on FUN. He yells his name EVERY. TIME. HE. APPEARS.
