Mage. If you take a look at Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron's artwork, you would see some big hands holding it.
Elise is known to be a druid (ever since Un'Goro), Brann is a hunter and Finley makes more sense to be a paladin. Even though it would have been hilarious, if we saw a murloc mage.
Mage.
Proof nr 1: arcane-looking gun
Proof nr 2: Reno is mentioned in Yogg puzzle box flavour text
Proof nr 3: this artwork
Proofs for Finley beeing paladin:
1. Golden weapon
2. Murloc tribe is popular in paladin
Reno being a mage just feels very weird to me, whether that's the case or not.
Dalaran mostly belonged to Mages. Just to make a theory, the mages hired league of explorers to take the city back because they knew loe had defeated raffam in the past. Hence I feel, Reno jackson, being a leader figure among those would represent the Mages even though he is not a mage.
I never saw Reno as somekind of a Mage but i kinda like the idea .... and i also would love if Finley would be a Paladin

I agree with the others that in terms of personality, Reno doesn't fit with mage at all, but given the evidence from the trailer(magic crystal gun, magical explosion to escape sand worm) I'm pretty sure that's the class he got stuck with.
Brann is a Hunter, because T-rex. Finley and his little golden fish-sword strike me as paladin and Elise was just released as a druid hero, but there's other hints in the trailer as well, like her cloak and staff.
Also here for the Mage thing. Whilst Reno would also fit Paladin because of the healing, the only class Finley could go to is Paladin because of Murloc synergy, thus Reno can only go to Mage since Druid is already taken by Elise, and Hunter is (presumably) taken by Brann. There's also the evidence of the artwork and the crystal gun.
I don't think Blizzard is going to use the whole "Reno is a dragon" thing here. It was a stupid theory to begin with.
In other words we all have to admire Reno for his intense fitness training. He is really muscular for a mage.
Who say Mage cant be muscular? :)
Well mage used to use Reno in karazan and gadgetzan(as one of the kabal classes). The other kabal classes are EVIL classes.
That"s my reasoning anyway.
Maybe i would like him in mage more.

Probably not. All of the EVIL villains got assigned a class even if they were originally neutral (Dr. Boom, Rafaam). Since there are four hero classes and four league of explorers heroes, seems pretty obvious they're going to represent these 4 classes
Reno debate is Vol'Jin = Priest vs Hunter debate all over again ;P
Reno's weapon has crystals on it which makes for a compelling Paladin argument at first glance (Crystology being the Paladin's theme from Boomsday). That being said, the evidence suggests that Reno is the Mage hero as has been mentioned already.
The fact that the Mage was one of the Highlander classes in MSG heavily influences the connection between Reno and the class, as well. We might see Reno once again function as a "if your deck has no duplicates" card.
I honestly think the "magic bazooka" that Reno is holding is a sign that while he may not have mage-like abilities, the Mage spells this expansion will mostly or all be tied to magical artifacts (such as Yogg-Saron's Puzzle Box). These artifacts could be conveyed in the Hearthstone lore as items Reno has found in his explorations, and therefore, items he is using to gain some control of magic through them. Hence he is in the Mage class for this expansion.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Leader of Explorers' League is Brann Bronzebeard and yes it is same thing with Leauge of Explorers, just look the image here;

For OP, I've thought firstly Finley as Mage and Reno as Paladin but then remembered sth.
I guess Sir Finley Mrrgglton's title says everything. Being a sir as Paladin makes sense more than being a Sir as Mage.
And like others say, Finley holds an Fish-y Artifact and hits with that artifact in the cinematic trailer. Even Mages use weapons like Staffs, They use them for casting, not hitting.
Finley's effect might even equips that Golden Fish-y artifact to our hero.
So I guess, Reno-Mage and Finley-Paladin.

It has been confirmed on reddit that reno will be mage and finley will be paladin.

If we had Blastmaster Boom as a Warrior, we can have Reno as a Mage.
They announced that Reno will be Mage (since he steals a lot and has presumably stolen some powerful artifacts and scrolls). Sir Finley is Paladin so there goes all the excitement I had for the expansion down the drain, o well.
It's 90% luck, 1% skill
9% concentrated power of will...
10% pleasure, 90 % pain
And 100% reason to delete the game.
Can i ask why the excitement is going down the drain for you?
simply because Reno is a Mage or something else? im just curious

This is rediculous, I find it a lot harder to see Sir Finley as the Mage than Reno.
