So, I guess it's okay for DH to get a whooping 5 mana discount, but it's not okay for other class. They can have only 1 or 2 mana discount. Turn 7 play Lapidary and hero power, and you have 5/5 and 6/6 with rush threaten the board.
Remind me how many more busted DH cards we're going to witness later.
#facepalm
Nice art!
Burst attack face damage, massive lifesteal that can be also turned to damage with the new legendary, mana cheat minions that also have rush, silence enemy minions and charge with kayn, clear the board with blade dance, heal with soul fragments, cycle... What is DH's weakness again?
card generation -> have to rely on card draw -> super fast into fatique
Singletarget removel
any sort of minion buffs
It's getting easier to remove single targets if you have a 1m 6/6 with rush or can directly attack minions with your hero without losing health if you lifesteal, it's also easy to avoid dealing with those targets when you can silence them, charge past taunts or just ignore them by dealing face damage which wins you the game faster than relying on card generation or ever going to fatigue. Minion buffs are also a slow and unnecessary strategy when your gameplan is simply killing your opponent so even if they had access to minion buffs it wouldn't be as useful.
Of course DH cannot do everything but it's hard to prevent taking face damage without relying on cards specifically designed for survival, unlike other classes whose minions you can remove and whose burn strategies are way slower and require careful setup.
The faire seems to have quite a lot of X cost X/Xs with Rush... Though this one, if run, would be casr for 1 more often than not.
6 attack is ridiculously easy to get with DH.
Blizzard, you know, it's possible to create minions who don't have rush
Wouldn't it be more balanced if the Condition said 10 Attack?
Like, 6 Attack in DH is not hard...
On the plus side, it's pretty tough for DH to get this before turn 6 or 7. So yes this card is still broken, but it's not impossible to deal with. This may be one of the first cards to get nerfed, unless we're once again wrong about how good DH cards are like we were during Scholomance (I really hope we are wrong about this, otherwise we might see on-release DH dominance again).
If you equip Aldrachi Warblades at 3, then you can just Twin Slice into this on 4. And this thing has rush too, and you can still go face with 6 attack, and have 1 mana left over.
Oh good. I was worried the Legendary would be the only busted DH card this expansion.
Know how easy it is to get 6 Attack?
Soulshard Lapidary + Hero Power - Boom
Marrowslicer + Twin Slice - Boom
so this is the Rush expansion for DH. okay
E.T.C., God of Metal: Am I a joke to you?
Is this the actual name of the card? It sounds so childish, even for HS
Yep, it's the official name.
Should have been Queen of Blades.
Bearded lady, sideshow pun. Unless they had tagged this as 'fluffy woman lady' or something which is the normal filler tag when their waiting for an official translated name.
DH the class that does the same things as others but better
Whenever you start pilling up those minions when you see soul dhunter use up both their Blade Dances then team5 comes along and completely ruin your day.
I thought the original idea was that dhunters needed to actually use their face to gain tempo and protect their minions. Guess again, said the devs.
