How do you actually edit pre-existing cards while keeping things smooth, I've tried the card generator but it only generates new cards.
If you go to Hearthcards and hit the little "Import" button (it's next to where you enter the name), it'll open a menu that lets you pull up any existing card and edit it.
Bad form to do two in a row, but I couldn't resist.

I'm completely new to all of this, so I don't know how to edit existing cards yet, but with Toxic arrow I think something along the lines of
2 Mana 'Toxic Arrow"

BADCARDNAMEThis is not at all relevant to the game, but I was looking at Saronite Chain Gangs art and I noticed that he has hoofs, blue skin, weird scale things on the top of his head, some little tentacles coming out of his face, and a tail. What on earth is this guy?
I always assumed the guy in the middle was some Draenei who looked bedraggled because of imprisonment or something. According to the wiki they are Alliance and Horde prisoners being driven mad by mining the blood of Yogg-Saron.
