Dragon Soul Tier 1 in Wild, easy Legend guaranteed :^).
I really like the idea of a neutral weapon tutor, but this just doesn't seem to be designed for the current standard pool. There is no weapon class that would run this except maybe Shaman...and they'd do it for the additional draw.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
hilarious to compare this to hammer of the naaru. costs more mana, no taunt, procs secrets, deck building restriction.
also i assume doesnt activate battlecries so especially terrible if used WITH hammer of the naaru.
Really interesting effect, but the cost prohibits it from being useful. Nearly any weapon in the game could just be played instead.
This post is discussing the wild format.
So i read the effect and thought "wow thats good", then i saw it was 7 mana. The biggest dust a card can be. Best case scenario it fetches a weapon you build your deck around, like Woecleaver..(why even play Selfless Sidekick in a big warrior deck?)
Honestly i don't see the use of this card. The only time it can be "decent" is in Arena just to get a weapon from your deck. That's it.
Oh wait i know a good use of it! Use it in shaman to get Doomhammer without overloading! for only 7 MANA! Thats the normal price including the overloaded mana crystals! Pay the same mana for Doomhammer with a free 6/6 alongside it! Whoo! that will *OBVIOUSLY* make shaman viable! xD
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Doomhammer is the best use of this as it negates the Overload, but any big weapon that you want to tutor from your deck is a good pick.
Well, it's not that bad. You pay 6 mana for 6/6 body and 1 mana for drawing and equiping a weapon.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
It's an ability we haven't had before in exactly this form, and potentially very useful. I agree with those of you saying Doomhammer for this.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
If this could trigger weapon Battlecries, this would be nuts. But since it doesn't, I don't know if it's broken enough to get a slot
I would consider drafting this in Arena if I drafted some weapons already or when I'm still expecting to do so, but that's about it. At 7 mana I don't think this card will ever make it into a constructed deck.
Arena > Wild > Standard
I love this card, fun effect. Could be used in some combo if late game weapons become a thing again. Still may be too slow. Perhaps if there was ever a shuffle card for weapons maybe.

Doomhammer, Gorehowl, Doomhammer, Libram of Judgment, Doomhammer.
Man, so many good choices.
Basically if your Cagematch Custodian cant come to your rescue, this card will. Doomhammer off this card is just nuts. A little slow, but still nuts nevertheless.
Maybe in some sort of tempo warrior that runs gorehowl this card can just swing board right there. In fact, any highcosted weapon in future will immediately come attached with this card. I like it alot.
Perhaps this will be good to find a weapon you want, but it's at the bottom of your deck. You also get a 6/6 which has a good chance of being removed before it does anything.
If this was way cheaper, this might probably see play in weapon-oriented classes like DH and Warrior. At 7 mana, it's just pack filler imo. Really cool effect to cheat out a weapon though.
Decent Card - could still be a little slow to see play but still decent because it also equips the weapon - so yeah lots of classes could benefit from this.
