I hate face hunter (as do many other people), you don't see me saying "stop promoting face hunter, nobody likes it" because I know that's not true. I may hate the deck, but I understand that some people enjoy it. It's not fair to try and find confirmation bias by saying "i hate big priest, therefore nobody likes big priest." (That's a logical fallacy you are employing.)
What you hate is long games where you get outvalued. The reason is: that's priests win condition (or was back in the days of big/rez priest). If you hate long games, what you hate is that your deck got countered.
TLDR: You don't hate big priest, you hate that your decks win condition can get hard countered if a priest reaches turn 10. What you fail to realize is that your deck is not a "one stop fits all" deck that can beat every deck. Sometimes you'll get hard countered. Understanding that, accepting it, and moving on will make your life much more enjoyable. Just a thought to consider.

As much as I am on your side, I have to concede lots of people do like it. On the bright side, at least the Amulet cannot resurrect Archmage Vargoth. That's some good news.
Look at Blackwater Cutlass and then look at Bloodclaw.

Silverback Patriarch have been practically shat on since its inception. Besides, Bloodclaw was supposed to be an important bit for that heal paladin that never existed.
Golakka Glutton is honestly the best meme card every created. There isn't even any point to it other than going "no u". It's glorious.

Its amusing how Golakka Glutton is just strictly worse as well since it cost one more mana.
I dunno. Beasts find their way into the decks of most classes every now and then, even if they don't care about the tribe itself. Meanwhile pirates are really just a rogue and warrior thing (ignoring Patches' influence), and even then they aren't usually so central to those classes as beasts are to hunter and druid. So it makes sense that the anti-beast tech card would have a higher cost than the anti-pirate one.
You're right, but a 2/3 for 2 with beast synergy would be a cost you can afford to pay for a tech card, while a 2/3 for 3 is something you will never run because the times when it doesn't have a target are just too painful. It has pirate synergy sure but all the pirate decks are too high tempo to play a card that is this awful unless beasts are in literally every deck they face.
I wonder if there was an Arena balancing consideration, since beasts are super common there due to them being a sizable chunk of the decent neutral cards. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they designed the card for the memes more than any actual constructed use, then had to tone it down for Arena.
I mean they could just reduce its offering rate, but that will most likely come only after ppl start getting destroyed by it, if ever. So, the usual :)
