That is a very easy condition. I'm interested to see the Hero Power.
EDIT: Just poked around online. Apparently it equips a 3/2 weapon that makes your hero Immune while attacking.
Holy sweet mother of...
A man is lying on the street, some punks chopped off his head
I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
This card isn't showing up on the front page and you cannot click on the "Revealed" button on the side either. Took me a while to find this thread. Probably why no one has commented yet.
It seems like a really easy quest to complete and you don't have to sacrifice a lot to do it. Very solid in my opinion. Doesn't even require you to build a deck around it fits into the Rogue identity already. You only really sacrifice your turn one to play the quest.
Edit: Now it is showing up on the front page.
Chaos, Panic, and Disorder, My work here is done.
Welcome to the thunder-dome bitch!
mama-mia! now that's-a some spicy burgle rogue support 👌👌

I think the quest requirement for this card is very minor, Rogues have so many ways to generate cards from another class, with cards like Pilfer, Blink Fox, and Hench-Clan Burglar are already run in a Thief Rogue decklist. We also have the two new cards from this expansion that will help with it, Pharaoh Cat and Bazaar Mugger. I think the hero power is pretty decent overall, not crazy strong but just enough power. The problem currently is that it has anti-synergy with Spectral Cutlass. Yes a 3/2 weapon that makes you immune while attacking is nice to have but it doesn't offer any sustain which many Rogue lack. I'm going to make the prediction that it won't probably be as impactful
While the quest reward looks really enticing, it's hard to say how quickly and consistently rogue can complete it in time for the weapon to become more relevant than just two wagglepick swings. Current burgle rogue lists are still essentially tempo rogue decks that splash in 4 burgle minions to activate Vendetta, but you'd probably have to double that number to reliably complete the quest. What do you cut? Leeroy, eviscerate, Cleef? Spirit of the Shark and Shadowstep? Early tempo tools like SI and Backstab?
What interest me about this quest is the potential for a real late-game rogue deck that tries to control the board with Ancient Blades while working toward some crazy Togwaggle or Pogohopper finish, but I suspect that's too greedy to be viable.
huh, interesting. pretty solid. most rogue lists already run two blink fox and two hench clan for vendetta enablers. you probably run bazaar mugger and pharaoh cat from the new expansion and with your shark/bouces you can usually get this done at a decent pace. the fastest you could do it by just curving would be pilfer/pharaoh cat > blink fox > hench clan > mugger and then have the quest for your turn 6. idk if you run pilfer though, probably pharaoh cat is better even if it can whiff quest wise.
the reward is good. good synergy with weapon buffs, good for removal and it's a lot of late game chip damage. it also lets you face tank minions in aggro races without killing yourself.

That's super busted. And a good replacement for Cutlass.
worst community ever
Such a great card, for Thief rogue or Tempo Rogue. Both will use this.
I'm afraid another Rogue quest will be nerfed. This seems so powerful.
We can now replace weapon buffs with another cards for Thief Rogue maybe?
I've thought that quests this time has little effective than old ones when i first saw Supreme Archaeology. It ended up almost all are kind of powerful.
Edit: Btw i wrote under reveal article but wanted to write here too.
it opens up 6 card slots for Thief Rogue decks; 1x Raiding Party + Captain Greenskin + 2x Deadly Poison + 2x Spectral Cutlass.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
That's an amazing HP reward for a mainly tempo class. Being able to constantly equip a Fiery War Axe+Candleshot weapon is fantastic. Completing this by turn 4-5, which is realistic, will be huge.
My worry is most of Rogue's burgle cards will be ineffective in mirror matches (Pilfer, Blink Fox), making this reliant on Hench-Clan Burglar and I guess Pharaoh Cat, unless I'm forgetting some other burgle cards. Does Violet Haze count?
Pilfer now works with it even against Rogue. Violet haze i think can hit but dont have the math but feels more like 40/60. Old burgle Rogue player here so pretty excited.
Pilfer isn't upgraded in ooC, but it's worded like Hench-Clan-Burglar, so its grants you also cards from other classes in mirror matches.
On topic: Such a great HP, reminds me on Oddrogue, but with a better weapon a bit later. Could be too strong, but we will see.
Oh wow, I didn't know about that change since I don't play Rogue much. If that's the case then, this quest is even easier to finish. This will see play for sure.
I guess T5 hate Cutlass, so they create this new weapon HP for Burgle-Rogue. It's a secret ban, because this quest makes Cutlass bad.
oh my this wil result in burgle/lackey rouge spam ^^
Easy to fulfill, reward, anti-synergies with Cutlass Tess Rogue.
I think people are overestimating how quickly this will be finished. It's 'easy' sure, but you still need to draw the cards that make it easy first, and it won't often be the case you have them all neatly on turns 2,3,4 and 5 (especially as the plan seems to be to play them on curve and none of them draw cards to improve the likelihood).
Realistically then, using the HP on turn 6 is optimistic, so we have to start asking the usual quest question: how problematic is the loss of a card in the opening hand against aggro? The answer here is unclear to me, so if the meta is aggressive enough the quest might still end up sub-optimal.
Having said all that, the fact it presents genuine competition for Spectral Cutlass in burgle decks means it is clearly very powerful in a long enough game. I still think the cutlass is stronger but the freed up deck slots, added reliability, and resistance to weapon removal probably swing it towards the quest.
This is such a strong quest, the reward is way too good, the requirements not so high... I won't say it's gonna be nerfed cause normally quests are hard to evaluate most of them sucked last time.
Actually, Rogue, Priest, Warrior and Mage quests saw a lot of serious ladder play. Pala and Druid quests created at least nice meme decks. Warlock quest was awfully designed but also saw at least some ladder games in tier 4 decks. Only shaman and hunter sucked in such a way that they were neither fun nor good. So I don't think it is "most of them". And the proportions will probably be more or less the same, which would be fine with 4 quests spawning good meta decks, 2-3 meme tiers and 2-3 not good enough for any purpose. Cheers!
Really nice in burgle rogue (will you still run cutlass?). Not useful in tempo rogue decks, too slow and requires too many deck sacrifices.
Meta defining:rogue, warrior
Saw competitive play:mage, druid, priest
Is played but only in wild after it rotated:shaman
Garbage:hunter, paladin, warlock
Yeah maybe I was wrong with "most of them" but still they weren't very strong outside of warrior and rogue, the priest one was hard to complete and was not game winning most of the time.
They also just weren't consistently good, from koft to rastakan you only really saw quest rogue popping from time to time the rest were not played.
Paladin was terrible only kibler really played it, but kibler really likes to play meme decks.
This heropower is obviously quite strong , but the major issue is giving up a card (quest) in your opening hand . Not sure if a normal Temporogue can afford this.
It think one of the most important advantages toward cutlass is indeed the resistance to weapon removal and the cheap cost.
Versus aggro 2 mana remove a minion without health loss for two turns is very strong and less loss of tempo than cutlass.
Versus control (warrior really) its a very strong damage dealer or removal he can't break like cutlass which is a huge deal in the matchup
Ohhh wait, i thought the Weapon was immune (ie losing no durability)!
Well, at this point i wonder how the HP should be better than Spectral Cutlass for lategame purposes.
However, considering a fast Quest completion (which is not granted so far in Standard), the thing turns into a stronger Odd Rogue at midgame.
It's interesting anyway. It could even turn into an option for the very Odd Rogue in Wild, for slower matchups.
This feels like the best quest by a mile.
