With the upcoming Maw and Disorder Mini-Set for Murder at Castle Nathria announced yesterday, it's time to enter the second day of ongoing card reveals! It opens up with the third Legendary card, Demon Hunter's very own Prosecutor Mel'tranix - now joining the other two already revealed signature Neutral Legendaries: Sylvanas, the Accused and The Jailer.
- As usual we're going to see 35 new cards, with a trial theme visible throughout!
- You can find the full ongoing card reveal schedule and all countdowns on our special page.
- Make sure to follow along with all the card reveals through our dedicated articles, and see all of it collected in our Mini-Set guide.
- 24.4 Patch notes will be posted on Monday, September 26.
- The patch launches, alongside the new cards, on Tuesday, September 27.
- Besides all of the Mini-Set additions, there will also be new content for Hearthstone Mercenaries.
New Demon Hunter Legendary Card Reveal
It all comes to us via Hearthstone Twitter, with a special newspaper page fresh off the print.
This is actually the very first time Demon Hunter receives a Legendary card from any Hearthstone Mini-Set (Hunter and Paladin still await such an honor).

cancer.
Its comparable to Blademaster Okani in that the principal idea is that you'll likely reduced your opponent to playing only their topdeck because the leftside would be something big or a win con. Except this one is more consistent in the early game and less powerful the further you go.
Im not exactly sure if it'll replace okani, but its certainly an option. Turn 7 vault+phantasm plus this might just seal the deal most of the time.
If i only have 4 mana and my left and right most cards cost 5+, does that mean i wont be able to play anything?
Correct
Weak. Yes, your opponent semi-skips his turn but with 4 mana 2/6 you semi-skip your turn
So Loatheb is a bad card?
Oh, I haaaaaate this. Way too cheap for the effect. Seriously, a card like this shouldn't exist.
People really seem to be underrating this. It's basically Okani except you can't really play around it and if it connects well you basically lose an entire turn.
Absolutely busted
Everything is trash or broken in HS of late -- no inbetween. No subtelty, no cleverness, nothing that feels good for the opponent even if it makes them lose. I get to play and you don't.
The worst thing about Theotar was that, as soon as I saw it, I knew that its only future would be complete nerfing annihilation (Illucia) that comes much too late or even more Theotar. Once the last patch's buffs were confirmed, the only option left was the latter.
At this point, Hearthstone desperately needs a keyword or trait that allows for hand disruption counterplay.
Or useless if opponent is aggro because their hand is empty anyway...
I mean yes, but the card is still busted. Just the fact that there are some cases in which it's not particularly good doesn't make it any worse.
oh i am loving the courtroom theme so far. I hope they go full ace attorney on this
Very cool disruption, makes it so you can either play your topdeck or that one card that has been in your hand the longest. (in theory) Imagine your opponent plays this on turn 4 (And they went first, to make this easier to explain) and the leftmost card in your hand is a 6+ cost card. This means you can only play your topdeck, and if your unlucky its too expansive and your locked out from doing anything except using your hero power.
This might be a bit too strong honestly. This card really gives me Not-united in Stormwind Shadow priest with old Mindrender Illucia vibes, and that was hated and way too powerful and led to Mindrender Illucia being killed. I hope i'm wrong, otherwise this might lead to a lot of non-games and lots of frustrated feelings. Especially because Prosecutor Mel'tranix seems good in both aggro and midrange DH decks. A potential Time Warp seems way too good.... I really hope i'm wrong.
I'm not sure how to evaluate this one, but I don't feel like she is great. The bigger the hand the more impact it has, theoretically, but if they can "chain" the left-most or right-most like you can chain regular Outcast, then really all you're doing is messing up the order they play stuff in. As in, if they play the left-most card and now can play the new left-most card, you haven't locked them out of playing XYZ; they'll just play it ZXY or however it falls in their hand. Could be important against Combos, sure, but if they're just tempo-ing or dumping their hand it might not mean much.
Edit: Okay, thinking about it more, my real concern is the lack of a middle-ground. Either you lock them out like Brandon suggested above me, or you more-or-less whiff on it and they play their cards. Either-way, I'm not happy with this taking up a Legendary slot.
*shrugs* More disruption is more disruption, but did it need to exist and take up a Legendary?
On the contrary, if this is actually good, would you want it to be played twice per game?
I'd rather it didn't exist at all, is my point :P
