Noxious Cadaver is such a nasty art :D I kinda hope and fear that it will vomit all over you when played :D
Seems like there's a lot of handbuff cards and by the looks of the other revealed cards blood decks are not control but feature some sort of lifesteal, handbuff, midrange archetype not dissimilar with handbuff pally from stormwind, but substantially better at controlling tempo.
In other words, DK is now fully in my mind, just the better paladin. If Uther doesn't receive anything convincing in the next expansion we might actually have an argument as to why even bother playing pally at all, when DK is just simply doing everything it does, but better.
The Death Knight (so far) has four "Strike" cards: Death Strike, Heart Strike, Frost Strike, and Plague Strike. I see they're all named that in WoW, but it feels like they couldn't think of another word to use lol
And now frost strike is only one requiring 2 runes of the strkes
And here i thought Blood DK was a control archetype deck. But for some reason they give it handbuffs to only attack? Not only that but half of these cards basically are at their best in a aggro deck.. And the handbuffs look like some kind of aggresive handbuff stuff, despite the fact that blood DK is supposed to be the "control" version of Death Knight. I hope the 2+ blood DK runes will be more Control focused, because this honestly feels like their trying to make the 1x blood rune cards compete for the last rune in a 2x Unholy DK deck...
I get that they want the 1x rune cost cards to be good enough to make people think about other options then running a 3x same rune DK deck, but i'm not sure what frost DK wants from these cards. (Besides that weapon, thats decent. But frost has a better weapon) Meanwhile Unholy DK wouldn't mind half of these cards.
Deathstrike and Hearthstrike atleast are removal spells, blood controol could want/use
That is true, but i tried reffering the handbuff cards and Noxious Cadaver. (Weapon also decent in other DK decks including aggro, but not really counting it considering its pretty flexible.)
Just hoping the 2+ blood rune fit control archetypes a bit more then aggresive handbuffs.
Blood dk is suddenly hand buff???
Also seemed strange to me.. I expected more tanky cards, buffing toughness as well
What do you mean "suddenly"? This is the first reveal for Blood DK ever since we got the initial grouping of cards when the class was first revealed.
While true, it doesn't really go with what we were told Blood DK might look like, with big minions, removal, and Health shenanigans. Handbuffing - more specifically, Attack-only handbuffing - seems unusual.
