This just feels shameless, to release a card that is not only just supported by one single unrelated legendary, but also said legendary already rotating out of Standard in two months.
Should have just not printed it at all at this point.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Now imagine this minion getting support through other means than just Wildheart Guff at this moment after the rotation hits in the new Standard year and your blood will likely start to boil instantly.
Whatever happened to their intentions of printing fewer cards with Charge? This is not even a legendary which means Druid can run two of these in a deck. I can already feel the huge frustation of losing to this minion suddenly out of nowhere.
So, this kinda confirm that we will have a card that make druid pass 10 mana again, since guff hero card is rotating, right?
There's some *minor* chance we don't. High Exarch Yrel got printed one set before all the other Pure Paladin stuff rotated and didn't get more support until Castle Nathria. However, I think it's a safe bet that we will see something. Hopefully it's not a card that takes it all the way to 20 again.

An omen that druid is going to get a card that expands their total mana cost next rotation? Because if they don't then this is practically one of the most unplayable card to exist in their library.
As it is, its already fairly bad on its own. Why would druid play a card like this, when two doesn't even kill opponents from full health, and they have access to other cards that would do the job, like astalor or even jailer? The fact is that this card is just redundant with or without the manathirst active. Adding insult to injury is that the card is effectively a brick unless guff is played.
Its almost like they threw darts to decide what to design for druid. Or they recognize how broken some druid cards are so this is a form of compensation.
Buck Flizzard for even thinking about printing this card.

So the flavor text hints towards druid getting a new way of getting 10+ mana next expansion..... NOOOOOOOOOO! I'm so tired of druid ramping above 10 mana....
As for the card itself: I don't see this being that good pre-rotation. Sure you can double Death Beetle + Astalor, the Flamebringer thanks to Anub'Rekhan, but i feel like doubling multiple Astalor, the Flamebringers with Brann Bronzebeard is way better. Post rotation this might be a lot better because you can still double Death Beetle + Astalor, the Flamebringer with Anub'Rekhan, but of course it will depend on how good the new "get 10+ mana" card will be.
In wild i'm not sure if it sees play, however there is some support for it with cards like Survival of the Fittest. Maybe that deck might also use Celestial Alignment for the mana cheat? Meh.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I feel that in next expansion we will get a card that increases your maximum mana crystals by 1, so that it can be more balanced.
Seems like anti-synergy to me, because then you won't reach 11 Mana Crystals for the Manathirst.
Yeah that is true. But at the same time druid can still do a lot of ramp stuff with Lady Anacondra, Overgrowth and other ramp cards. So it might be possible, but still it seems quite slow.

I can imagine combo like this:
Death Beetle + Elder Nadox
Together they cost 11 mana, beetle hits the face, Nadox kills it and give +10 attack to your other minions. If u have something on board it's OTK most of the time. Good that cards like Menagerie Warden or Stonetusk Boar aren't in standard.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
