Wouldn't it be nice if....

I hope that tag line got your attention to open this thread.  I am wanted to see what other players feel about a sentiment that I have regarding Casual play vs Ranked.  I am very much a casual player, I think the highest rank I've ever attained was 7.  With that in mind, whenever a new set is released, there are a number of cards that I would love to try, but I do not want to commit to crafting.  Thus the title of this thread....

WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF... there was an option to be able to theory craft a card and play it in a deck to try it out and see if you want to craft the real thing.  Something like... TheoryCraft this card for 100 dust and it is good for 10 games.  After that, it disappears and you either say, "Well, that sucked.  Guess I'll try something else." or, "I am totally going to craft that Golden!"

What do you all think of this idea, or what WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF... ideas do you have?

This feature pretty much exists currently. It's called Whizbang the Wonderful.

I think maybe a better way to do it would be to have a certain amount of cards they can test out per week or so. While the dust route would help out some people, there are plenty of people out there that don’t even really have the dust to be doing something like that (and 10 games doesn’t always give you the best indicator of how well a card would perform)

Who needs consistency when you could have fun?

I'd be all for it IF players gained no stars on ladder nor the 10g per win every three games.

I don't believe in giving players advantages and little extras if they're basically going to cheaply buy their way into certain cards as a trial.

It doesn't craft A card you want, you just play one of the premade decks

Whizbang the wonderful is literally the very opposite of theorycrafting and deckbuilding lol

Even netdecking requires more deckbuilding than Whizbang.  At least you can choose decks that are interesting to you and make changes

You can kinda sorta do this, if you have a friend that has all the cards to make a deck you want. You can ask him to make the deck and share it with you in a friendly match.
